The solid block detergent contains a neutralized sulfonated anionic surfactant in combination with various processing aids to optimize soil removal in a formulation that can be pressed for form a solid.
Solid soap
A solid soap containing, (A) 77 to 91 mass % of an alkali metal salt of a saturated fatty acid having an even number of carbon atoms from 12 to 18, (B) 0.005 to 1 mass % of an alkali metal salt of a saturated fatty acid having an odd number of carbon atoms from 13 to 17, (C) 0.5 to 5 mass % of glycerol, and (D) 5 to 18 mass % of water.
Formula design for a solid laundry fabric softener
Solid laundry fabric softening compositions for laundry applications of use are disclosed. In particular, solid laundry fabric softening compositions combining quaternary dialkyl actives with low iodine values and silicone provide softness without causing any significant yellowing or loss of water absorption or wicking to the treated linen. The solid laundry fabric softening compositions can be provided as a multi-use block having uniform dispensing rates and without block sloughing. Beneficially, the combination of processing aids for solidification comprising one or more of (A) polyethylene glycol and an acidulant, (B) a surfactant and an acidulant, or (C) polyethylene glycol, a surfactant and an acidulant, are combined with the quaternary ammonium compounds and silicone to provide the stable solid composition.
SOAP COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to the field of perfumery, more particular it concerns soap compositions. The present invention relates to a soap composition comprising a soap active material and a perfume composition comprising perfume raw materials defined by LogP and used according specific proportions. The present invention also relates to a soap article comprising the soap composition and the use thereof as well as a method for modifying the olfactive character of the perfume composition under wet conditions on a skin, surface or in the air surrounding of the skin.
Hemp Oil/Magnesium Preparation for Cognitive-Enhancement and Reduction of Stress and lnflammation
Novel neuroprotective preparations of hemp oil and magnesium are disclosed herein. Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity of hemp oil (containing a broad-spectrum of beneficial phytochemicals) are combined with magnesium and has been found to reduce oxidative stress, upregulation of antioxidant enzyme systems, and the mitigation of NMDA-receptor hyperactivity. The synergistic effects of hemp oil and bioavailable magnesium are utilized to improve cognitive function, mood, stress tolerance, and reduce oxidative stress and inflammation. A highly-efficacious, lipophilic, trans-mucosal, delivery system is included to provide exceptional bioavailability of a palatable and convenient intra-oral, or topical, anti-inflammatory, neurotrophic, and neuroprotective preparation. Additionally, methods of use are described, allowing for effective, safe, and convenient use for general (public) and clinical use, in both humans and animals.
Solid fast draining/drying rinse aid for high total dissolved solid water conditions
The present invention is a solid rinse aid composition and methods of making and using the same. Applicants have surprisingly found that the crystal modifier sodium xylene sulfonate (short chain alkyl benzene or alkyl naphthalene sulfonates) at higher percentage can act as a solidification agent. The solid rinse aid composition generally includes a short chain alkyl benzene or alkyl naphthalene sulfonates solidification agent and an effective amount of a surfactant which can include a sheeting agent component, defoamer component and/or association disruption agent. The solid rinse aid composition may be phosphate-free, aminocarboxylate-free, and GRAS if desired.
High water hard bars comprising combination of type and amount of electrolytes
The invention relates to a process to make high water bars with a high speed extrusion process by using specific types and amounts of electrolytes in combination. The bars are produced with no negatives generally associated with use of electrolytes. Disclosed is an extruded soap bar composition wherein the bar comprises: a) 20 to 40% of water; b) 20 to 75% by wt. anhydrous soap; wherein C.sub.16 to C.sub.24 saturated soap comprises 12% to 45% by wt. of total bar. c) structurants comprises at least from 0.05 to 35% by wt., wherein the specific level of structurants is defined by the level of C16 to C24 saturated soap of (b) such that the total level of said C.sub.16 to C.sub.24 saturated soap and structurants are greater than 25%, and wherein said structurants are selected from the group consisting of starch, carboxymethylcellulose, inorganic particulates, acrylate polymers and mixtures thereof; d) electrolyte which is a combination of alkali metal chloride; and a secondary electrolytes selected from the group consisting of alkali metal citrate and alkali metal sulfate; and wherein the concentration of alkali metal chloride ([alkali metal chloride]); and of alkali metal citrate ([alkali metal citrate]), alkali metal sulfate ([alkali metal sulfate]) defined by level of water we use as follows: i. [alkali metal chloride]%=0.075×[water]−0.626; and ii. [alkali metal citrate]%=−0.0023×[water].sup.2+0.312×[water]−4.34; iii. [alkali metal sulfate]%=−0.0023×[water].sup.2+0.312×[water]−4.34; or iv. [alkali metal citrate and alkali metal sulfate]=−0.0023×[water].sup.2+0.312×[water]−4.34, wherein the calculated amount of the concentration of the electrolyte is plus or minus 15%.
SUSTAINABLE LAUNDRY SOUR COMPOSITIONS WITH IRON CONTROL
Linen treatment compositions and linen processes are disclosed which help to prevent iron deposition from wash water, and/or redeposition after iron containing stain (such as blood) removal by alkaline detergents. The linen treatment composition is a combination of a hydroxycarboxylic acid and an acid source, which may be organic or inorganic. The invention provides for effective iron control in a phosphorus-free formula that is also free of toxic or hazardous chemicals and includes sustainable, environmentally friendly ingredients, while still providing effective iron control.
