Unit dose detergent pack including a liquid detergent composition comprising an alkyl polyglycoside surfactant
A unit dose detergent pack includes a pouch formed from a water-soluble film and a liquid detergent composition releasably disposed within the pouch. The liquid detergent composition includes at least two surfactants including from about 3 to about 20% by weight of alkyl polyglycoside and from about 15 to about 70% by weight of an additional surfactant, from about 13 to about 34% by weight of a fatty acid thereof, and less than about 30% by weight of water, with all weight percents based on a total weight of the liquid detergent composition.
WIPE WITH A GUANIDINYL-CONTAINING POLYMER
A wipe article includes a substrate, a cationic coating disposed on a surface of the substrate, distributed throughout the substrate, or both. The cationic coating contains a guanidinyl-containing polymer that is crosslinked and bound to the substrate. The substrate includes sponge, nonwoven fabric, or woven fabric. The wipes are useful for removing microorganisms from a microorganism-contaminated surface and also for reducing re-contamination of the cleaned surface or transfer to another surface of the removed microorganisms.
Rapid Dispersing Wet Wipe
A cleaning wipe having a nonwoven substrate impregnated with a dispersal composition including at least one of a polar solvent and a water-in-oil emulsion is disclosed. The dispersal composition provides an enhancement to the dispersion of the nonwoven substrate including a binder when placed within a waste water stream after use, thereby more effectively disposing of the wipe after use.
BAD-ODOR CONTROL USING ENCAPSULATION TECHNOLOGIES CONTAINING A NEUTRALIZING AGENT
A composition may include microcapsules containing at least one odor-neutralizing agent, and agents may include such a composition. Furthermore, such compositions or agents may reduce malodors and/or be used for treating a surface, for treating room air, or for washing and/or caring for textiles using such compositions or agents.
Antimicrobial composition
An antimicrobial cleaning composition having a pH of from about 9 to about 14 wherein the composition comprises a bispyridinium alkane antimicrobial active and the composition is substantially free of a quaternary ammonium antimicrobial active.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DISPENSING FLUID FROM A RUPTURABLE CELL
The present disclosure relates to a fluid delivery system that includes a surface contact a layer and a matrix of rupturable cells. The rupturable cells contain fluid confined with the cell. The fluid is absorbed by the surface contact layer when at least one of the cells is ruptured.
FOAMING COMPOSITION FOR HIDING EXCREMENT AND AVOIDING SPLASHES AND FALLING NOISES
A foaming composition containing a foaming agent that is made up of at least one acid and at least one base. The base and the acid being able to react in the presence of water, producing carbon dioxide. The composition also contains an anionic surfactant. The composition is in the form of a loose powder and in that it contains a mass percentage of the surfactant that is greater than or equal to 3% and is less than or equal to 4%. In particular, the mass percentage of the surfactant is less than 3.5%, and/or a mass percentage of the acid and base mixture is greater than or equal to 90%. The composition allows a foam to be obtained that allows excrement to be hidden, and splashes, rising odors and falling noises to be avoided.
Cleaning System With Dissolvable Cleaner Block and Handling Tool for the Same
A cleaning system includes a handling tool for a dissolvable cleaner block. The handling tool includes a wand and a retainer arrangement attached to the wand and moveable between a retaining position and a releasing position. The retainer arrangement is configured for removably attaching the wand to the dissolvable cleaner block when in the retaining position. The retainer arrangement is configured for releasing the dissolvable cleaner block when in the releasing position. The retainer arrangement includes at least one selectively moveable engagement member that removably engages the dissolvable cleaner block in the retaining position. Furthermore, the handling tool includes a sealing member that is attached to the wand and that is configured to seal against the dissolvable cleaner block when engaged with the retainer arrangement to impede liquid intrusion toward the retainer arrangement
Cold water soluble polymer films for packaging highly alkaline detergents
A film: (a) 50 to 85 wt % polymer comprising: (i) 30 to 70 wt % hard polymer with T.sub.g from 40 to 70° C. and 40 to 80 wt % (C.sub.1-C.sub.10)alkyl (meth)acrylate; 10 to 40 wt % C.sub.3-C.sub.8 carboxylic acid; and 0 to 25 wt % hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate; and (ii) 30 to 70 wt % soft polymer with T.sub.g from −20 to 20 ° C. and 50 to 90 wt % (C.sub.1-C.sub.10)alkyl (meth)acrylate; 5 to 30 wt % C.sub.3-C.sub.8 carboxylic acid; and 0 to 25 wt % hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate;
hard T.sub.g minus soft T.sub.g is at least 30° C.; (iii) 0 to 10 wt %, of (C.sub.12-C.sub.24)alkyl (meth)acrylate polymer containing crystallizable portion with T.sub.m from 0° C. to 37° C.; (b) 10 to 40 wt % of polyethylene oxide having M.sub.w from 250,000 to 4,000,000; and (c) 0 to 10 wt % of poly(vinylpyrrolidone) having M.sub.w from 25,000 to 2,000,000.
Liquid detergent compositions including structurant, single dose packs including the same, and methods of forming the single dose packs
Liquid detergent compositions, single dose packs including the same, and methods of forming single dose packs are provided herein. In an embodiment, a liquid detergent composition includes an ionic surfactant, an alkoxylated linear fatty acid structurant, and, optionally, a particulate component. The structurant is solid at ambient temperature of about 21° C. and ambient pressure of about 100 kPa. The particulate component is different from the structurant. The detergent composition exhibits non-Newtonian fluid behavior at 24 hours following shear mixing cessation.
