DETERGENT COMPOSITION
A detergent composition containing water, a component (A) which is a silica capsule enclosing a functional agent, and a component (B) which is a cationic polymer having a weight average molecular weight of 500,000 or more and 5,000,000 or less and obtained by polymerizing an unsaturated monomer having a cation group (excluding those enclosed in the silica capsule of the component (A)).
Monitoring cleaning of surfaces
A method for monitoring cleaning of a surface includes applying an amount of transparent indicator material to an area of a surface and measuring the amount of transparent indicator material remaining on the surface. The transparent indicator material may be fixed on the surface by drying and, when a fluorescent material, may be measured through exposure to ultraviolet radiation.
A LAUNDRY SCENTING COMPOSITION
A laundry scenting composition is provided, including water; a solid carrier; a crosslinked cellulose ether containing 0.1 to 0.6 wt %, based on weight of the crosslinked cellulose ether, of polyether groups; and a scent additive; wherein the laundry scenting composition is a solid.
WASHING/WAXING CONCENTRATE, METHOD OF MAKING, AND METHOD OF USE
A washing/waxing concentrate, a waxing/washing composition obtainable by diluting the concentrate, and methods of concurrently washing and waxing a surface using the washing/waxing composition. The washing/waxing concentrate and composition comprises a first, aqueous washing phase and a second, hydrophobic waxing phase. The second, hydrophobic waxing phase comprises a hydrophobic, film-forming material that is present in the form of droplets that are stabilized by an electrostatic complex coacervate formulated using anionic polymer along with cationic polymer. The washing/waxing concentrate and composition further comprises a surfactant package comprising an anionic surfactant.
HIGH POROSITY WATER-SOLUBLE SHEET DETERGENT CONTAINING THERMOLABILE OR VOLATILE ACTIVE SUBSTANCES, AND PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
Process for manufacturing a solid water-soluble sheet detergent containing sensitive additives, which includes the steps of: manufacturing two continuous films of sheet detergent free of sensitive additives, by means of a solution casting process starting from a homogeneous and finely aerated mixture, and then superimposing and coupling under lamination said films, simultaneously including said sensitive additives therebetween, as an aqueous solution or dispersion, to obtain a single multilayer film. The invention also relates to sandwiched water-soluble sheet detergent s, wherein said sheet s are made of a non-fibrous detergent composition, have a microporous internal structure, and are free of sensitive additives, a thin layer of sensitive additives being included at the interface between said water-soluble sheets.
ARTIFICIAL TURF CONTAINING A WASHABLE BINDER COMPOSITION
The present disclosure provides an artificial turf. In an embodiment, the artificial turf includes a primary backing layer having a plurality of artificial turf yarns projecting upwardly therefrom. The artificial turf also includes a secondary backing layer in contact with the primary backing layer. The secondary backing layer is made of an acrylic binder. The acrylic binder includes (i) an acrylic polymer composed of polymerized units of (a) a first monomer that is a C.sub.4-C.sub.18 alkyl acrylate and (b) a second monomer selected from acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, and a C.sub.1-C.sub.3 alkyl acrylate optionally containing a hydroxyl group. The acrylic binder also includes (ii) at least one inorganic neutralizer, and (iii) at least one surfactant.
ARTICLE CONTAINING A WASHABLE ADHESIVE COMPOSITION
The present disclosure provides an article. In an embodiment, the article includes a first substrate and an adhesive layer in contact with the first substrate. The adhesive layer contains an adhesive composition. The adhesive composition includes (i) an acrylic polymer composed of polymerized units of (a) a first monomer that is a C.sub.4-C.sub.18 alkyl acrylate and (b) a second monomer selected from acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, and a C.sub.1-C.sub.3 alkyl acrylate optionally containing a hydroxyl group. The adhesive composition also includes (ii) at least one inorganic neutralizer, and (iii) at least one surfactant. The article includes a second substrate in contact with the adhesive layer.
TEXTILE WASHING METHOD
A method for washing textiles in a washing machine is described. The washing machine has a laundry treatment chamber and a storage container for storing a surfactant concentrate. The method includes providing a wash program, introducing textiles into the laundry treatment chamber of the washing machine, introducing an aqueous liquor into the laundry treatment chamber of the washing machine, diluting the surfactant concentrate which includes 50 to 95 wt. % of a surfactant and less than 10 wt. % of water, and introducing the surfactant-containing detergent composition into the laundry treatment chamber of the washing machine.
COMPOSITIONS FOR POST-CMP CLEANING OF MICROELECTRONIC DEVICES
The invention provides a composition comprising (a) water, (b) a sulfonated polymer, a sulfonated alkyl amine compound, or a combination thereof, (c) a chelating agent, and (d) an organic compound comprising a quaternary amine, wherein the composition has a pH of less than about 7. The invention also provides a method for removing residue from a surface of a microelectronic device substrate comprising contacting the surface of the microelectronic device substrate with the compositions described herein.
