Multifunctional brewing system for coffee, beer, and other beverages
A brewing device may have several different configurations to make various beverages. Under computer control, the device may be able to sequence various ingredients using direct or recirculating percolation for immediate consumption, such as coffee and tea, or for fermenting for later consumption, such as beer, kombutcha, or other consumable products. The device may be capable of a sequenced percolation, such as coffee infusion of a first type of coffee, then a second type of coffee, followed by vanilla, and followed by spices. The device may be capable of sequential, cascading, or parallel percolation directly or using recirculating paths. Ingredients may be pre-packaged or may be placed into various removable and cleanable containers. The device may further be capable of infusion by steeping ingredients in a dispensing device.

SMALL SCALE GRAIN MALTING APPARATUS AND METHOD
An apparatus and method for malting grain having a hollow cylindroconical vessel and a first, smaller removable false bottom retaining grain used in cleaning, steeping and resting the grain and a second, larger removable false bottom used in germinating and kilning the grain. The apparatus also includes a pump, a cooling system, a fan, a heating system, a humidifier, an aeration system, valves, tubing and ducting for treating grain with water and air. Sensors communicate with a controller and control the pump, the cooling system, the fan, the heating system, the humidifier, the valves, and the aeration system.
Carbon Dioxide Regulating System for Home Beer Brewing
A carbon dioxide regulator assembly for use in carbonating home brewed beer includes a first pressure gauge that includes a first gauge face. The first gauge face includes a first region having a first indicia indicating a carbonation pressure range of a first type of beer at a predefined temperature, a second region having a second indicia indicating a carbonation pressure range of a second type of beer at the predefined temperature, a third region having a third indicia indicating a carbonation pressure range of a third type of beer at the predefined temperature, and a fourth region having a fourth indicia indicating a carbonation pressure range of an over-carbonation condition at the predefined temperature. The first indicia, the second indicia, the third indicia, and the fourth indicia are each non-alpha-numeric.

NITROGEN GENERATOR AND USES THEREOF
A system and method to supply nitrogen gas is provided. Ambient air is compressed and stored in a storage receiver and then nitrogen is separated from the compressed air in a nitrogen membrane separation unit. The separated nitrogen is stored in a nitrogen storage tank under pressure and released through a pressure control valve. The system is confined to a small footprint and is useful as a nitrogen source where conventional compressed nitrogen tanks are a safety or space issue. Systems to prepare nitrogen infused beverages are also provided.
INDIRECT WATER HEATING AND CHILLING SYSTEM FOR BREWING BEER
A system for brewing beer in small batches comprises a first heat exchanger and a second heat exchanger. The first heat exchanger delivers heated fluid into the second heat exchanger. A fluid-in line delivers cool fluid into the second heat exchanger. The second heat exchanger is configured to indirectly chill or heat brewing ingredients in a vessel.
