A cell modification device, comprising a centrifugation chamber with at least one cell modifying surface with a normal vector having an angle of 135-45° to the rotational axis of the centrifugation chamber, wherein the centrifugation chamber comprises at least one input/output port and the cells to be modified are immobilized at the cell modifying surfaces by the rotation of the centrifugation chamber at 2 to 2000 g. In an embodiment, the device is used as a point-of-care and/or portable device. Further, the present disclosure describes software that, when executed by a processor, causes the device to perform the disclosed functions.
PREPARATION DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PREPARING A CELL SUSPENSION FOR AN ANALYTICAL METHOD
A preparation system for preparing a cell suspension having a carrier on which a reactor housing and a magnet system are accommodated, wherein, in the reactor housing, a reaction channel is formed, which extends between an inlet opening arranged centrally on an upper side of the reactor housing and an outlet opening arranged on the outside of the reactor housing and which is bounded by a channel wall, the magnet system being received on the carrier so as to be relatively movable between a first functional position, to bear with a pole face against the channel wall of the reaction channel and a second functional position to assume with the pole face a predetermined distance relative to the channel wall, and having a reactor housing drive for initiating a rotational movement on the reactor housing.
Fragile object holding device provided with protecting mechanism
A device for stably maintaining the shape of a fragile object in a liquid includes a container for accommodating the fragile object, a lid member for sealing the container, and a protecting member. The device is configured to form a liquid-tight space by covering a liquid surface in the container which accommodates the fragile object and the liquid with the protecting member and further covering the protecting member and an open portion of the container with the lid member.

CELL BAG ROTATOR
A cell bag rotator is constructed to slowly agitate a plurality of cell bags by rotation along a rotation axis that is at least partially horizontal. The cell bag rotator comprises a plurality of plates to which a respective cell bag is attached. The cell bag rotator is suitable for mixing cells with particles for performing various types of subsequent cell therapy processes on the cells.
BIOREACTOR AND BIOREACTOR SYSTEM FOR CELL AND TISSUE GROWTH
The invention relates to a bioreactor (10, 10′, 100) adapted for rotation, the bioreactor comprising: a vessel (12) comprising: a first end (24) and a second end (26) which define a central axis (28) of the vessel (12) extending along a first direction, e.g. a length direction, of the vessel (12) from said first (24) to said second end (26), at least one wall (18, 18′, 20) running along the first direction of the vessel (12), at least one media conduit (22, 22′) defining a volume for receiving fresh or spent media; an inner chamber defined by at least a part of a space confined within said at least one wall (18, 18′, 20) and comprising a fresh media chamber (14) and a spent media chamber (16); a cell culture chamber (30) in fluid communication with said at least one media conduit (22, 22′) and said fresh (14) and/or spent media chamber (16); and a movable wall (38) configured, within said inner chamber, to separate said fresh media chamber (14) from said spent media chamber (16) within said inner chamber.
