Push-To-Open Container
20170107022 · 2017-04-20 ·

The container contains a cap element, a hollow case member with an open top side, a tab element, and an elastic element. The cap element is hinged to the case member so that the cap element can be flipped to reveal or cover the case member. The tab element is hinged to a front side of the case member locking the cap element, and the elastic element is configured to a rear side of the case member that is bended by the cap element when the cap element closes the case member. When the tab element is depressed, the cap element is released, and the elasticity of the elastic element pushes open the cap element. The elastic element helps reducing the friction between the cap element and the case member, thereby enhancing the convenience and reliability of opening the container.

A container and billfold for carrying credit cards and the like is provided with security protection for shielding surreptitious remote retrieval of the information stored in magnetic means on the cards. The upper edge portions of the cards are exposed in a staggered manner in the container for ready identification, selection and removal of a particular card during use. The container has a spring-loaded cam operated compression spring hinge to maintain it in either a closed condition in a snap action or in a secure opened condition with its upper housing pivoted to a maximum opening position of generally 49 degrees relative to the plane of the lower housing. A paper currency clip is also provided in the container.

Eyeglasses case with lateral spring means and cam

An eyewear case for carrying eyeglasses comprises a container having a central body and two opposite sides integrally joined at the ends of the central body, a lid movable so to open and close with respect to the container and comprising a central body and two opposite sides integrally joined to the ends of the central body, a spring mounted on one side of the lid and cooperating with a cam housed in the side of the container.

PACKAGING ASSEMBLY

The present invention provides a packaging assembly for packaging one or more articles, comprising: an inner body part which defines at least one inner compartment to receive an article; an outer body part that at least partially encompasses the inner body part; and a cover member which is movable between a closed position to prevent access to the at least one inner compartment and an open position to permit access to the at least one inner compartment; wherein the outer body part is movable relative to the inner body part between a first position and a second position to move the cover member between the closed position and the open position.

CLAMPING HANDLE DEVICE, CARRYING BAG, AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE STAND USING THE SAME

A clamping handle device includes a clamp body with pivotally connected first and second clamping portions biased by a torsion spring towards a closed position. The clamp body defines a clamping mouth on the opposite side of the torsion spring. First and second handles slide relative to the clamping body and positioned on opposite sides of the clamping mouth. Each handle has hinged first and second handheld portions. The second handheld portions can be rotated to separate the ends of the first and second clamping portions to open the clamping mouth. The clamping handle device is integrated into a carrying bag with detachable sidewalls, and also functions as an electronic device stand.

HINGE FOR A LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT

A luggage compartment hinge having a first hinge leaf with one bearing bush arranged between two second hinge leaf bushes. In an axle tube, non-rotatably connected to the first hinge leaf bush and rotatable in the second hinge leaf bearing bushes, there is a torsion spring, fastened at its first end to the axle tube and at its second end to a pretensioning adjusting element. A pivoting-movement damping element is arranged between the first and second hinge leaves. The adjusting element includes: a latching element in the second hinge leaf second bush with a ratchet wheel having an outer gear rim; a locking pawl mounted on the second bush for engagement in the outer gear rim; and a stop element which limits the rotation angle of the adjusting element. This arrangement allows the locking effect of the locking pawl to be ensured even without axial pretensioning of the torsion spring.
