Bioreactor with Filter
A cellbag bioreactor includes a stacked filter providing multiple porous membranes to define a filter cavity. Additionally, a filter within the cellbag bioreactor may be tethered so as to help maintain each membrane of a filter wetted during bioreactor operations.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IMMUNE ACTIVITY DETERMINATION
A system and method for determining a trajectory parameter of particles, comprising receiving a plurality of particles at a microfluidic channel, applying a force to each particle of the microfluidic channel, acquiring a dataset of each particle, measuring a trajectory of the particle, and determining a trajectory parameter of the particles.
Disposable Cell for In Situ Monitoring Probe
An in situ probe, comprising reusable and disposable components, can be employed to measure cell viability in a rocking bioreactor.
CULTIVATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR LARGE-SCALE PRODUCTION OF CULTURED FOOD
Systems and methods for producing cultured food products such as cultured meat in a form of meat cut or offal are provided, comprising growing non-human-animal adherent cells on edible scaffold(s) in a cultivation system. The cultivation system typically comprises a plurality of cell culture bioreactors receiving medium at a controlled flow rate adjusted to nourish the non-human-animal adherent cells.
Microfluidic device for cell culture monitoring
A microfluidic device (100) is disclosed for in-process monitoring of cell culture conditions including for example one or more of: cell density; cell viability; secreted proteins; protein analysis; epitope markers; concentrations of metabolites or nutrients and antigenic determinations; the device comprising: a cell inlet path (120); plural fluid reservoirs (130) in fluid communication with the cell input path, a cell analysis area (160) in fluid communication with the path and reservoirs, and a waste storage volume (166) also in fluid communication with the cell analysis area, the device being operable to cause a primary fluid flow along the inlet path to the analysis area, and to selectively cause secondary fluid flow(s) into the path from none, one or more of the selected reservoirs to combine, if one or more of the reservoirs are selected, with the primary fluid flow from the cell inlet path, in each case for analysis at the cell analysis area, the device being further operable to cause a fluid flow of the primary and any combined secondary flows from the cell analysis area into the waste storage volume.
Aquaculture Bioreactor
A gliding wave reactor includes a base, a tank, a suspension bracket, and an actuator. The tank is configured to hold a liquid. The suspension bracket is configured to suspend the tank over the base. The actuator is fixed to the base and configured to move the tank to create an environment in the liquid for cultivating marine life.
SET OF ADHESIVE MAT AND PRESSURE AID FOR USE FOR LABORATORY SHAKERS OR SHAKING INCUBATORS
The present invention relates to a set comprising an adhesive mat for the shaking platform of a laboratory shaker or shaking incubator, the adhesive mat having a platform side for application to the shaking platform and a support side opposite the platform side, both of which are designed to be adhesive, the set comprising a pressure aid which has a contact surface which is anti-adhesive with respect to the support side of the adhesive mat. The present invention also relates to a use of a pressure aid of this type for the attachment of an adhesive mat to a shaking platform of a laboratory shaker or shaking incubator and to a method for the attachment of an adhesive mat to a shaking platform of a laboratory shaker or shaking incubator.
Culture device, culture system, and culture method
This culture device comprises: a culture container which houses cells, magnetic particles and a culture medium; a temperature adjustment unit for adjusting the temperature of the culture container; a magnet which is provided to the outside of the culture container; a magnetic force adjustment unit for adjusting the magnetic force of the magnet; and a control unit for controlling the operation of the magnetic force adjustment unit. The magnetic force adjustment unit adjusts the magnetic force of the magnet, thereby holding magnetic particles and cells in a predetermined region within the culture container, or dispersing the magnetic particles and cells within the culture container.
Biomimetic cell culture apparatus and cell culture system comprising the same
The present disclosure provides a biomimetic cell culture apparatus that mimics interactions among organs in a human body. The present disclosure includes a plurality of culture units for culturing cells, a conduit for connecting the plurality of culture units to each other to form a circulating path, a pump unit disposed on the conduit for forming a flow in culture medium such that the culture medium circulates through the plurality of culture units, and an agitating module for agitating the plurality of culture units.
SPLIT SHAKER AND INCUBATOR COMPRISING THE SAME
A split shaker for an incubator, the incubator defining an incubation chamber, wherein the split shaker includes a disk drive motor for driving a shaking table, a disk drive motor including a stator assembly disposed outside the incubation chamber, and a rotor assembly disposed inside the incubation chamber having a central shaft and a rotor turntable mounted on the central shaft; wherein the rotation of the rotor turntable drives a shaking movement of the shaking table.
