CROSS-CIRCULATION PLATFORM FOR RECOVERY, REGENERATION, AND MAINTENANCE OF EXTRACORPOREAL ORGANS
Described are systems, methods, and devices relating to normothermic extracorporeal support of an organ, tissue, or bioengineered graft comprising cross-circulation (XC) perfusion for prolonged periods (days to weeks) via an XC perfusion circuit in connection with an extracorporeal host (e.g., animal, patient, organ transplant recipient) are disclosed. The XC perfusion circuit comprises auto-regulation of blood flow based on the trans-organ blood pressure difference between arterial and venous pressure. Recipient support enabled 36 h of normothermic perfusion that maintained healthy lungs with no significant changes in physiologic parameters and allowed for the recovery of injured lungs. Extended support enabled multiscale therapeutic interventions in all extracorporeal lungs. Lungs exceeded transplantation criteria.

Systems and methods for cell culturing are disclosed herein. A fluidic exchange system for cell culturing comprises a cell culture cassette, comprising: a cell culture chamber having a cell culture and fluid media; and one or more pluggable ports fluidically connected to the cell culture chamber; a fluid media cassette, comprising: one or more liquid storage compartments; and one or more pluggable ports fluidically connected to the one or more liquid storage compartments; and a cassette coupler configured to fluidically couple the cell culture cassette and the fluid media cassette.

The present disclosure provides a perfusion system and a cell cultivation perfusion system, the perfusion system comprising: a pressure transfer component, the pressure transfer component including a belt and multiple pressure members disposed on the belt at intervals; a driving device, a driving connection being established between the driving device and the pressure transfer component; and at least one pipeline assembly, the at least one pipeline assembly including at least one pressable pipeline for fluid flow; wherein a press area is formed between the pressure transfer component and each of the at least one pressable pipeline, the multiple pressure members move with the belt, and at least a portion of the multiple pressure members press against the at least one pressable pipeline in the press area.
Systems, Methods And Compositions For The Preservation And Rehabilitation Of Living Allogenic Heart Valves
A tissue culture system, comprising: a support configured to be rotated about an axis of rotation; and one or more culture vessels configured to be mounted to at least a portion of the support, a culture vessel comprising: (i) a chamber configured to receive a biological tissue, and (ii) a conduit in communication with the chamber and configured to facilitate a flow of a composition, wherein the support is configured to cause rotation of the one or more culture vessels during rotation of the support, and wherein the conduit is configured to allow for flow of the composition through the chamber during rotation of the culture vessel. Related methods and tissue treatment compositions are also provided.
