Systems and methods of producing compositions from the nutrients recovered from waste streams
According to present disclosure, there is disclosed an algae growth and cultivation system that provides a cost-efficient means of producing algae biomass as feedstock for algae-based products, such as, fertilizer, feed, biofuel manufacture, and desirably impacts, nutrient recovery from waste streams for valued byproducts production, recycle water, and alternative/renewable energy production. The system as discussed herein is an integrated systems approach to wastewater treatment, algal strains selection for byproducts production, and recycle of algal biomass-processing waste or additional algae harvested as feedstock for products such as fertilizer production. Embodiments of a system as discussed herein present an economically viable algae production system and process that allows algae-derived products such as fertilizer, feed, biofuels, etc. to compete with non-organic or petroleum products in the marketplace.
Incubator with air curtain
An incubator for cell and tissue culture under controlled atmospheric conditions has a primary air flow control device that forms a primary, preferably laminar flow, air veil across an opening that allows access to the cells or tissue cultures disposed within the incubator. Preferably, most if not all of the air in the primary (laminar flow) air veil is recirculated, and a secondary air flow control device is used that forms a secondary, preferably laminar flow, air veil between the primary (laminar flow) air veil and a user of the incubator.
ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING THE SAME
Provided is an electromagnetic radiation method and an apparatus for performing the same. The electromagnetic radiation apparatus includes a signal generator configured to generate a first electromagnetic signal configured with an uplink and a downlink and scale and radiate power of the first electromagnetic signal in order to evaluate the first electromagnetic signal as a second electromagnetic signal configured only with a downlink, and a radiation chamber in which cell containers configured with cells are arranged in a circle in order to evenly irradiate a scaled first electromagnetic signal to the cells.
AIR PURIFYING PHOTOBIOREACTOR TO IMPROVE INDOOR AIR QUALITY
This invention is a bioreactor device adapted to improve air quality. The bioreactor consists of a base that houses the mechanical components and a vessel that holds liquid mixture of water, a photosynthetic microorganism, and a media. The bioreactor has an air pump which draws room air into the base of the device through an air filter. The bioreactor bubbles the air through the liquid mixture. Photosynthesis converts the carbon dioxide to oxygen.
Heat Exchanger System with Flexible Bag
A bag assembly for use with a heat exchanger includes a flexible bag having of one or more sheets of polymeric material, the bag having a first end that bounds a first compartment and an opposing second end that bounds a second compartment, a support structure being disposed between the first compartment and the second compartment so that the first compartment is separated and isolated from the second compartment. A first inlet port, a first outlet port, and a first drain port are coupled with the flexible bag so as to communicate with the first compartment. A second inlet port, a second outlet port, and a second drain port are coupled with the flexible bag so as to communicate with the second compartment.

PROCESS FOR A FIXED FILM REACTOR AND APPARATUS RELATED THERETO
Exemplary embodiments describe apparatuses and related processes for improving mixing and sheer in a fixed film reactor. One process can include recycling at least a portion of a biogas product through at least one sparger below a fixed film zone in the fixed film reactor at conditions sufficient for mixing and sheering the film from an internal structure within the fixed film zone. Often, a cross-sectional area of the fixed film zone fills at least about 90% of a cross-sectional area of the fixed film reactor.
BIOSOLIDS DIGESTER AND PROCESS FOR BIOSOLIDS PRODUCTION
The invention relates to methods and apparatuses for producing Class A biosolids. In yet another embodiment, the invention relates to a method comprising digesting waste material by anaerobic digestion, and yielding Class A biosolids. In still yet another embodiment, the invention relates to a system for anaerobic digestion of waste material to produce Class A biosolids. In still yet another embodiment, the invention relates to a system for anaerobic digestion of waste material comprising a mixing chamber, a digester, a heating pit, and an effluent pit.
PROCESS AND APPARATUS FOR IN-SITU CLEANING OF A GAS SEPARATOR IN AN ANAEROBIC BIOREACTOR
The present invention relates to a process for in-situ cleaning of a gas-liquid separator of an anaerobic bioreactor, comprising directing a gas flow in the bioreactor in order to create a scouring effect from turbulent fluid flows resulting in the cleaning of at least a part of the gas-liquid separator. The invention further relates to a process for treating a fluid aqueous waste stream, wherein use is made of the in-situ cleaning process. The invention further relates to a bioreactor suitable for carrying out a process according to the invention.
CONVERSION OF LIGNOCELLULOSIC BIOMASS INTO BIOGAS
An anaerobic digestion system for producing biogas from biomass, particularly biomass that is lignocellulosic, and includes two separate and interacting anaerobic reactor environments to solubilize lignocellulosic materials and make them available for conversion to biogas.
