A hybrid pillow includes a first coil panel and a second coil panel which are joined along peripheral edges to form an inner shell defining a gap therebetween. The first coil panel is formed of a plurality of coil springs, an upper fabric layer, and a lower fabric layer, with the upper fabric layer and the lower fabric layer joined between the plurality of coil springs and along peripheral edges of the first coil panel. The second coil panel is formed of a second plurality of coil springs, a second upper fabric layer, and a second lower fabric layer, with the second upper fabric layer and the second lower fabric layer joined between the plurality of coil springs and along peripheral edges of the second coil panel. A support material disposed in the gap of the inner shell, and one or more additional layers disposed about the inner shell.

A carrier for articles has a case with an interior compartment that holds sleeves called pages for holding articles. The pages are accessed when the case is opened. The pages are attached to the case inside the compartment so they may be rotated to access either side. The pages may be detached from the case. A kit comprising a case and a number of detachable and varied pages may be employed to construct a carrier according to the needs of the user.

A collapsible laptop carriage bag. The laptop carriage bag includes a collapsible protective frame, having a first plate and a second plate carried between a plurality of arms pivotally attached between each of the first plate and the second plate. The arms are selectively extensible to position the collapsible protective frame between an extended condition and a collapsed condition. In the collapsed condition, the protective frame defines a protective cage about a portable electronic device received in an interior compartment. A bag is configured to be received within an elongate cylindrical enclosure defined by the collapsible protective frame when in the extended condition. The bag has in interior carriage space dimensioned to contain the collapsible protective frame when configured in the collapsed condition.

The invention relates to a fire-retardant bag (1) for accommodating flammable devices or energy stores, in particular lithium-ion batteries, having an interior (10) for accommodating such a device or energy store and having a wall surrounding the interior (10). The wall is flexible and of multi-layer design with at least one layer of fire-retardant material which withstands a temperature emanating from the interior (10) of >800° C. According to the invention, the wall has a layered structure in the form of a layer of textile material and at least one following layer of silica fibre material or silica woven fabric material.

A device incorporating both a magnet and a living hinge may be employed to construct cases to protect electronic devices and to function as a closure for cases and lidded containers. Such cases often can be bent three 360° allowing the cases to be either closed protecting devices therein are closed upon themselves allowing the case to function to secure an electronic device to a substrate such as an article of clothing. A carrying case for use with a game controller and a smartphone includes a top portion, a bottom portion, a handle, and a stand. The top portion and the bottom portion have an opened position for accessing the internal storage volume and a closed position for storing the game controller in the internal storage volume. The handle is attached to at least one of the top portion and the bottom portion for carrying the carrying case. The stand is integrated into a top surface of the top portion of the carrying case. The stand has a stowed position in which the stand is substantially flat and is extendable up from the stowed position to a use position for holding the smartphone at a preferred viewing angle on the top surface of the carrying case.

A modular binder assembly for storing a variety of objects includes a binder which includes a first portion that is hingedly attached to a second portion. A plurality of first mating members is each coupled to a respective one of the first portion and the second portion of the binder. A document folder is removably attachable to respective ones of the first mating members for insertably receiving documents. A cassette caddy is removably attachable to respective ones of the first mating members. A personal electronic device is removably attachable to a respective one of the first mating members on the binder thereby facilitating the personal electronic device to be positioned at a variety of locations on the binder.
