CELL MAINTAINER FOR AUTOLOGOUS CELL THERAPY PRODUCTION
In some aspects, the invention relates to automated cell culture incubators and their methods of use. In one aspect, the disclosure provides cell culture incubators having an airlock chamber, a storage chamber and/or an internal chamber. In some aspects, the disclosure provides methods for producing autologous mammalian cell cultures.
Automated cell processing methods, modules, instruments, and systems
In an illustrative embodiment, automated multi-module cell editing instruments are provided to automate multiple edits into nucleic acid sequences inside one or more cells.
AUTOMATED CELL PROCESSING METHODS, MODULES, INSTRUMENTS, AND SYSTEMS
In an illustrative embodiment, automated multi-module cell editing instruments are provided to automate multiple edits into nucleic acid sequences inside one or more cells.
Flexible bioprocessing container with partial dividing partition
Methods of separating magnetic particles from a fluid include introducing a fluid mixture that includes a liquid media, a biological component, and magnetic particles into an internal compartment of a container through an inlet, allowing at least a portion of the mixture to travel around a partition formed within the internal compartment and then exit the internal compartment through an outlet on the opposite side of the partition, and applying a magnetic field to the mixture in the internal compartment so that the magnetic particles are retained within the container or internal compartment thereof by the magnetic field. The partition is formed by permanently or reversibly securing upper and lower container walls together, such as by welding or pressing, between the inlet and the outlet such that the media and biological component must flow around the partition and through the magnetic field to exit the internal compartment through the outlet.
Systems and methods for cell culturing
Cell culture systems and methods provide improved immunotherapeutic product manufacturing with greater scalability, flexibility, and automation. Cell culture systems are configured with interchangeable cartridges, allowing versatility and scalability. Systems are configured to have multiple connected cell culture chambers, which allows parallel processing of different types of cells. Gas-impermeable cell culture chambers and methods for generating cells in closed systems prevent contamination and user error. Methods for recycling cell culture medium provide additional efficiencies.
Cell Culture Carrier
The invention relates to a cell culture carrier comprising a first channel and a reservoir, where the first channel and the reservoir are formed in the interior of the cell culture carrier, where the first channel has an inlet opening in an outer side of the cell culture carrier and an outlet opening in the outer side of the cell culture carrier, where the reservoir has at least two openings arranged next to one another, where the first channel is connected to the reservoir by the at least two openings, and where the reservoir is connected to the outer side of the cell culture carrier by no other channel.
Methods and apparatus for perfusion and environment control of microplate lab ware
Systems, methods, and apparatuses of controlling fluid flow are disclosed. An apparatus includes a first microplate having a first open portion and defining one or more first wells therein, a second microplate having a second open portion and defining one or more second wells therein, and a pneumatic lid constructed of styrene ethylene butylene styrene (SEBS). The pneumatic lid extends over the first open portion and the second open portion and includes one or more microfluidic channels that fluidly couple the one or more first wells to the one or more second wells. The pneumatic lid provides an airtight seal over the first microplate and the second microplate.
MICROFLUIDIC CHIP AND MICROFLUIDIC DEVICE
A microfluidic chip includes an upper surface, a lower surface opposite the upper surface, a flow passage for fluid located between the upper surface and the lower surface, a communication hole that communicate with the flow passage and open at the upper surface or the lower surface, and an annular seal formed from an elastomer, the annular seal being placed in contact with or being formed on the upper surface or the lower surface at which the communication hole opens and surrounding the communication hole. The microfluidic chip further includes a support structure fixed at a position within the flow passage, the position overlapping the annular seal, the support structure securing a height of the flow passage so as to prevent blockage of the flow passage.
ORBITAL INCUBATOR SHAKERS
It is described an orbital incubator shaker, which comprises an incubator housing (1) defining an incubation chamber (2), and an orbital shaker (3) configured to shake a shaking table (4). The orbital shaker (3) comprises a drive motor comprising a stator and a rotor (9), and an eccentric bearing mounted to the rotor (9). The orbital shaker (3) is fixed within the incubation chamber (2) or in a mobile version without fixing just being placed inside the incubation chamber (2). The orbital shaker (3) further comprises a bearing (16) configured to support the rotor (9) on a support structure. The rotor (9), the bearing (16) and the support structure are configured to seal the stator from the incubation chamber (2).
Cell Culture Device
A cell culturing device includes a plurality of trays that are stacked on top of each other, each of the plurality of trays having a floor and an upstanding encircling sidewall, the floor and the encircling sidewall of each tray bounding a space configured to hold a liquid cell culture medium, the plurality of trays comprising a top tray, a bottom tray and one or more intermediate trays disposed therebetween. The bottom tray and the one or more intermediate trays each have a first venting port extending upwardly from the floor thereof, each first venting port bounding a channel passing through the floor of the corresponding tray and being in fluid communication with an adjacent tray. The channel of the bottom tray is openly exposed so that a gas can flow from the space of the bottom tray through the channel of the bottom tray.
