Atraumatically formed tissue composition, devices and methods of preparation and treatment

A process and system provides for atraumatic preparation of morselized Tissue Particles (TP)s, such as Full Thickness Skin Graft Particles (FTSGPs), cartilage particles and other organ tissue particles, in a liquid medium. The resultant tissue product may be a suspension of Tissue Particles in an aqueous solution and containing highly viable cells and may be rapidly prepared at bedside or in the operating room and conveniently delivered to a patient through a syringe or similar applicator. The morselized Tissues Particles may be used for surgical applications including wound healing, cosmetic surgery, and orthopedic cartilage repairs.

An isolation device for adipose-derived stromal vascular fraction is provided. More particularly the embodiments relates to novel systems, devices, methods and kits for adipose tissue collection and stromal vascular fractions isolation from collected adipose. The devices and systems are used in the field of healthcare/regenerative medicine.

RAPID PRETREATMENT
20210040524 · 2021-02-11 ·

Disclosed herein are methods, systems, and compositions for the pretreatment of biomass within seconds with low inhibitor formation. The pretreatment process is used to convert biomass to a fuel or other useful chemicals by subjecting the feedstock to a rapid retention time under pressure and temperature and/or chemical reactant. The system includes a continuously-operating valve discharge apparatus to discharge pretreated feedstock while maintaining uniform pressure on the pretreatment system.

PROCESSES FOR RECOVERING PRODUCTS FROM A CORN FERMENTATION MASH
20210017547 · 2021-01-21 · ·

Processes and systems for recovering products from a fermentation mash. In some examples, a process for recovering products from a fermentation mash can include processing a ground corn product to produce a fermentation mash that can include ethanol. At least a portion of the ethanol can be separated from the fermentation mash to produce a whole stillage. The whole stillage can be separated to produce a fiber rich product and a filtrate. The fiber rich product can be hydrolyzed to produce a saccharification mash. The saccharification mash can be processed to produce additional ethanol and a stillage protein product.

System and method for cooling pretreated biomass

Discharging pretreated biomass from a pretreatment reactor and mixing the discharged pretreated biomass with a cooling liquid in a vessel provides a cooled slurry having a consistency that is less than about 12 wt %. Since the consistency is relatively low, the cooled slurry may be pumped to a higher elevation using standard pumping equipment. At the higher elevation, the cooled slurry may be separated into a first stream comprising a liquid component of the slurry and a second other stream comprising a solid component of the slurry (e.g., having a consistency between about 15 wt % and 40 about wt %). The solid component may be fed to an inlet of a hydrolysis reactor, while the liquid component may be fed to a cooling system that provides a cooled stream. The cooled stream may then be cycled back to the vessel.

Methods and systems for grinding corn and making ethanol therefrom

Processes for grinding corn, ground corn products, and processes for making ethanol from the ground corn products. In some examples, a process for making ethanol can include introducing a plurality of corn pieces into a mill. The process can also include milling the corn pieces in the mill to produce a ground corn product. Greater than 25 wt % of the ground corn product can have a particle size of greater than 105 m, as measured according to AOAC 965.22-1966. Greater than 80 wt % of the ground corn product can have a particle size of 425 m or less, as measured according to AOAC 965.22-1966. The process can also include processing the ground corn product to produce a fermentation mash that can include ethanol and separating at least a portion of the ethanol from the fermentation mash to produce a stillage.

Extraction Method, Extraction Apparatus, Production Method, and Production Apparatus for Object Component

An extraction method is aimed at extracting an object component by transferring the object component from a first liquid containing a microorganism and the object component to a second liquid to which the object component can be transferred and that is capable of causing phase separation from the first liquid, with use of a flow channel including a merging part, a flow part, and an outlet part. The extraction method includes a step of supplying the first liquid to the merging part, a step of supplying the second liquid to the merging part, a step of passing the first liquid and the second liquid supplied to the merging part, through the flow part, in a state where a phase of the first liquid and a phase of the second liquid are separated from each other, a step of discharging the first liquid and the second liquid passed through the flow part, from the outlet part, and a step of collecting the first liquid and the second liquid discharged from the outlet part, into a collector.
