ADIPOSE TISSUE DIGESTION SYSTEM AND TISSUE PROCESSING METHOD
A tissue processing system for dissociation of and release of cellular components from adipose tissue to prepare stromal vascular fraction includes a portable tissue processing unit for containing biological material including adipose tissue during enzymatic digestion processing and a digestion drive unit configured to receive the tissue processing unit for rotational processing of the tissue processing unit about an axis of rotation. The unit has an upright orientation and a reclined orientation in which the axis of rotation is at a reclined angle to horizontal relative to the upright orientation. The digestion drive unit is configured to receive and drive rotation of the tissue processing unit in the reclined orientation. Methods for processing biological material including adipose tissue include enzymatically digesting adipose tissue with rotation of a tissue processing unit around an axis of rotation in a reclined orientation.
Cell suspension preparation technique and device
The present invention provides for methods and devices suitable for producing a transplantable cellular suspension of living tissue suitable for grafting to a patient. In applying the method and/or in using the device, donor tissue is harvested, subjected to a cell dissociation treatment, cells suitable for grafting back to a patient are collected and dispersed in a solution that is suitable for immediate dispersion over the recipient graft site.
Process for preparing a cell suspension
Process for carrying out an in vitro biochemical reaction for preparing a cell suspension suitable for application to the skin of a patient.
ANAEROBIC DIGESTER
Anaerobic digestion apparatus comprises a first chamber for retaining organic matter before and/or during anaerobic digestion and a second chamber for retaining organic matter during anaerobic digestion. The anaerobic digestion apparatus is configured to refrigerate or heat the first chamber to suppress methanogenesis in the first chamber. The anaerobic digestion apparatus comprises a controller programmed to regulate the anaerobic digestion process and to thereby reduce system perturbations. The flow of organic matter to the second chamber where methanogenesis is regulated. There is disclosed an inoculum for anaerobic digestion comprising Acetobacterium woodii and Methanosaeta concilii.
PROCESSING BIOMASS
Biomass feedstocks (e.g., plant biomass, animal biomass, and municipal waste biomass) are processed to produce useful products, such as fuels. For example, systems are described that can use feedstock materials, such as cellulosic and/or lignocellulosic materials and/or starchy materials, to produce a product or intermediate, e.g., energy, a food, a fuel, or a material.
DEVICE FOR DERIVING ANTARCTIC CHIONODRACO RASTROSPINOSUS SKIN ANTIFREEZE PROTEIN
A device for manufacturing Antarctic chionodraco rastrospinosus skin antifreeze protein includes a de-frozen and cleaning device for de-frosting frozen grass carp skin and then cleaning carp skin; a skin slurry for making de-fat skin slurry; upper fat on the skin slurry being removed to get de-fat skin slurry; an ultrasonic generator for ultrasonic treatment to change organizational structure of skin antifreeze proteins of the slurry; a composite protease adder for adding composite protease added to the slurry; a collector receiving the slurry from the adder, and then the slurry are retained a time period and cooled to room temperature; then a 4000 g centrifugation is performed through 10 min; and a two-step filter connected to the collector for receiving the supernatant from the collector for performing a two-step ultra-filtration process so as to get skin antifreeze protein with molecular weight of 800010000 Dalton and.

Also provided herein are methods for preparing a cell suspension.
Thermal pretreatment method and equipment for organic solid waste based on forced hot air convection
A thermal pretreatment method for organic solid waste based on forced hot air convection is performed as follows. Experimental materials are grouped into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group is subjected to thermal pretreatment in a thermal pretreatment device, and then removed. The experimental group and the control group are subjected to enzymatic hydrolysis and physicochemical characterization, and the analysis results are compared. A thermal pretreatment device for organic solid waste based on forced hot air convection is also provided.
Process of using a plug flow hydrolysis reactor having a slurry introduction device
Provided herein is a process for hydrolyzing a cellulosic feedstock to produce sugar. The process comprises introducing a pretreated cellulosic slurry to an inlet region of a plug flow hydrolysis reactor using a slurry introduction device that reduces the axial momentum of the slurry at the surface of the reactor contents. The cellulosic feedstock slurry is hydrolyzed in the plug flow hydrolysis reactor by contacting the cellulosic feedstock with at least cellulase enzymes to produce glucose. Also provided herein is a vertically-oriented, unmixed downflow hydrolysis reactor for hydrolyzing a pretreated cellulosic feedstock slurry which comprises such a slurry introduction device disposed in a top region thereof.
