HIGH-EFFICIENCY SINGLE-CELL COLLECTION METHOD
This invention provides a high-efficient single-cell collection method using a specially designed collection well and collection pipet tip for particle/cell collection from the collection well. The structures of the collection well and pipet tip eliminate fluidic dead volume in the collection, resulting in all (or most) of the particles/cells can be brought into the collection pipette tip with the flow. The advantages of this invention in cell manipulation include high cell collection efficiency, low cell damage and easy operation procedure.

METHODS OF ENHANCING CROP QUALITY WITH MICROALGAE COMPOSITIONS
The present invention provides a method for improving crop yield and/or the quality of a harvested crop comprising the step of applying a composition comprising a culture of microalgae to a plant, a plant propagation material, or a locus where said plant or plant propagation material is intended to be grown.
CENTRIFUGE SYSTEM FOR SEPARATING CELLS IN SUSPENSION
An apparatus for separating cell suspension material into centrate and concentrate, includes a single use structure (178, 240, 250) releasably positioned in a cavity in a solid wall rotatable centrifuge bowl (172). The bowl and portions of single use structure rotate about an axis (174). A stationary inlet feed tube (184), a centrate discharge tube (212) and a concentrate discharge tube (230) extend along the axis of the rotating single use structure. A centrate centripetal pump (208) is in fluid connection with the centrate discharge tube. A concentrate centripetal pump (216) is in fluid connection with the concentrate discharge tube. A controller (274) operates responsive to sensors (264, 270) in respective centrate and concentrate discharge lines (262, 268), to control flow rates of a concentrate pump (272) and a centrate pump (266) to produce output flows of cell concentrate and generally cell free centrate.
Process for purification of malonic acid from fermentation broth
A process for the preparation of bio-based malonic acid and crystalline calcium malonate is provided. The calcium malonate is highly pure and provides a source of malonic acid made from a renewable carbon source rather than existing processes which rely on the use of petroleum-based products. The calcium malonate provides an improved source of malonic acid, which is important to many industrial processes.

PSEUDOMONAS SP. STRAIN, COMPOSITION COMPRISING THE SAME, AND USES THEREOF
The present invention relates to a new isolated strain of Pseudomonas sp. deposited at the “Colección Española de Cultivos Tipo” (CECT) under the accession number CECT8708 or a mutant thereof; wherein said mutant is obtained using the CECT8708 of Pseudomonas sp. as starting material, maintains the dual bactericidal and fungicidal effects of CECT8708 and has a genome with an Average Nucleotide Identity (ANI) to the genome sequence SEQ ID NO: 1 of at least 99.8%. The strain of the invention has bactericidal and fungicidal effect.
The invention also relates to the inoculation product comprising the strain of the invention, the cell-free extract derived from the strain of the invention, and the composition comprising it and their uses in the control of bacteria and/or fungal infection in a plant. Also refers to a method to obtain the mutant strain of the strain of the invention.
