AGRICULTURAL BALING MACHINES
An agricultural baling machine including: frame; a connection point for attaching to a towing vehicle; a plunger in a bale-forming chamber; a driveline for taking power from the towing vehicle and causing reciprocal rectilinear motion of the plunger in the bale-forming chamber; and a drawbar assembly that provides a mechanical link between the connection point and the frame. The drawbar assembly includes: a lower drawbar member and an upper drawbar member, wherein both members extend in a longitudinal direction of the baling machine from the frame towards the connection point; and wherein the lower drawbar member is spaced apart from the upper drawbar member in a vertical dimension such that one or more components of the driveline are accessible from the side of the baling machine through the drawbar assembly.

AGRICULTURAL BALING MACHINES
A mobile baling machine including a rotary input shaft connected by way of a driveline to a rotatable flywheel; and a drive converter that converts rotation of the flywheel to reciprocal rectilinear motion of a plunger, in a bale-forming chamber forming part of the baling machine, in manner forming plant matter in the bale-forming chamber into a compressed form; the driveline including one or more clutches for controlledly transferring rotary drive between the input shaft and the flywheel, wherein the driveline includes a transmission including driveline components defining at least first and second selectable transmission ratios between the input shaft and the flywheel; and wherein the baling machine includes or is operatively connected to one or more controllers that selectively engage a relatively lower, first said transmission ratio or a relatively higher, second said transmission ratio in dependence on conditions prevailing in the baling machine.
TORQUE DAMPER FOR AGRICULTURAL HARVESTER HEADER
A drive system of a header for an agricultural vehicle. The header includes a plurality of driven devices. The drive system includes a shaft configured for conveying motive power from the agricultural vehicle to the header, a gearbox configured for being located on the header and for transferring motive power to the plurality of driven devices, and a torque damper. The torque damper is operably connected in between the shaft and the gearbox. The torque damper is configured for reducing a magnitude of a torque spike.

Vehicle with Trailer Operatively Connected Thereto With a Cardan
Disclosed herein is vehicle (1) with trailer (2) operatively connected thereto with a cardan (3), said cardan (3) comprising a power take-off, said power take-off being switched off when said cardan (3) forms with said vehicle (1) and/or with said trailer (2) an angle (α; β) smaller than a first threshold value and/or larger than a second threshold value and being switched on when said angle exceeds again said first threshold value or goes below said other threshold value, due to suitable actuators. According to the invention, it provides angle (δ) detection means between the steering wheels (5) and the axle (A) of the vehicle and means apt to correlate said angle (δ) between the steering wheels (5) and the axle (A) of the vehicle (1) with the angle (α; β) comprised between the cardan (3) and said vehicle (1) and/or said trailer (2).

SIMPLIFIED SYSTEM FOR DISCONNECTING A POWER OUTLET OF A CARDAN IN A VEHICLE WITH TRAILER
Disclosed herein is a vehicle (1)—preferably a tractor—with a trailer (2) operatively connected thereto with a cardan (3), said cardan (3) comprising a power take-off, said power take-off being switched off when said cardan (3) builds with said vehicle (1) and/or with said trailer (2) an angle (ϵ) smaller than a first threshold value (a) and/or larger than a second threshold value (β) and being switched on when said angle (ϵ) exceeds again said first threshold value (β) thanks to suitable actuators, including detection means of the angle formed between the cardan (3) and said vehicle and/or trailer. According to the present invention, said angle (ϵ) is detected by a detector consisting of a magnetic device (4) placed on the trailer (2) or the vehicle (1) and an electronic compass (5) placed on the vehicle (1) or on the trailer (2). Preferably, the angle (ϵ) insisting on the cardan (3) is obtained according to the formula: ϵ=180−Y−arcsen (l/m sen y) (3) where y is the angle the compass (5) forms with respect to the straight travel with the magnet (4), I is the distance between the cardan (3) and the compass (5), m is the distance between the cardan (3) and the magnet (4).
