DEVICES AND ACCESSORIES EMPLOYING A LIVING HINGE
A device incorporating both a magnet and a living hinge may be employed to construct cases to protect electronic devices and to function as a closure for cases and lidded containers. Such cases often can be bent three 360° allowing the cases to be either closed protecting devices therein are closed upon themselves allowing the case to function to secure an electronic device to a substrate such as an article of clothing. The devices of the disclosure can also be used to organize and hold loose items together.
Body-worn structure
The present invention provides a body-worn structure, and more particularly a body-worn structure that applies a containing structure to the body of an animal, including a person or pet, and uses a multifunctional structure for use by a user in various different circumstances. For example, the structure can be applied as a body protective device in an emergency situation in outdoor activities, such as riding a motorcycle, mountain-climbing, skiing, hand gliding, paragliding, and boating, when the body-worn structure is applied as a protective clothing, an airbag, airbag clothing, etc. Moreover, the body-worn structure is an all-in-one functional device, including use when taking a pet outdoors, when the structure can be applied as a pet knapsack, pet weatherproof clothing, pet carrier bag, and a fixing device for a pet droppings collection bag.
Minimalist wallet
A minimalist wallet is provided. The minimalist wallet includes a frame with an embedded magnetic material. A first band and a second band are attached to the frame. A securement mechanism is attached to the second band. The securement mechanism includes a magnet that is magnetically attachable to the embedded magnetic material. Alternatively, the frame may include the magnet that is magnetically attachable to a magnetic material embedded in the securement mechanism. The minimalist wallet is configured to retain receipts, coupons, credit cards, debit cards, and/or paper money, among others.
Storage box and electronic device
The present disclosure relates to a storage box. The storage box includes a body, a cover, and a first magnetic unit. The body is provided with a receiving space. The cover is rotatably attached to the body and is configured to rotate relative to the body to drive the storage box between an open state and a closed state. In the open state, the cover covers the receiving space. In the closed state, the receiving space is exposed. The first magnetic unit includes a first magnetic member attached to the body and a first attracting member attached to the cover. Opening the storage box from the closed state causes the first attracting member to move closer to the first magnetic member. Magnetic force between the first magnetic member and the first attracting member drives the cover to rotate away from the closed state and into the open state.
Magnetic fastener
An item may be provided with a body that forms an enclosure. The body (12) may have body portions (16, 18) that open and close along a seam (14). An elongated magnetic fastener (36) may run along the seam. The magnetic fastener may have first (38) and second (40) portions on opposing sides of the seam. The first and second portions may include magnets. When the magnetic fastener is operated in a closed state, the magnets in the first and second portions attract each other and pull the first and second portions of the fastener together to close the seam. When the magnetic fastener is operated in an open state, the magnets in the first and second portions repel each other and push the first and second portions of the fastener apart to open the seam.
Closure device for the releasable connecting of two parts
Provided is a closure device for the releasable connecting of two parts to each other including a first closure part, having a first base body, at least two first engaging sections formed on the first base body, spaced apart from each other along a loading direction and forming between them a gap, and at least one first magnetic section arranged on the first base body, and a second closure part, having a second base body, at least one second engaging section formed on the second base body, and at least one second magnetic section arranged on the second base body.
Protective cover
According to various embodiments of the present invention, a protective cover for protecting an electronic device comprises: a cover part; and a coupling part extending from the cover part, rotatably connected to the cover part, and detachably coupled to a part of the electronic device, wherein the coupling part rotates the cover part while being coupled to a part of the electronic device, so as to enable the cover part to cover at least one of a first and a second surface of the electronic device. In addition, various embodiments are possible.
MAGNETIC CASE AND FOLIO FOR PORTABLE PERSONAL COMPUTING DEVICE
Systems and methods are provided for attaching and positioning a personal computing device case to a folio. The folio includes magnetic connections, and the personal computing device case includes magnetic connections for attaching the case to the folio in any one of a plurality of positions. The magnetic connections of the folio include an upper magnet array and a lower magnet array for attachment of the magnetic case. The folio includes a hinge mechanism at a top edge of each of two sides of the folio. The case is attached to the folio using guided magnetic seating, and the case is repositionable by slidingly or rotationally changing the position of the case relative to the folio.
MAGNETIC BUCKLE DEVICE
A magnetic buckle device has a first base, a major inserting head, a second major base, two major components, and a controlling assembly. The major inserting head can be inserted into the first base to engage and lock. The second major base and the first base can be moved or rotated with respect to each other such that the major inserting head enters a disengaging state. The two major components are respectively mounted on the second major base and the major inserting head. When the major inserting head is close to a major insertion hole of the first base, a magnetic force is generated between the two major components to guide the major inserting head to close the major insertion hole and assist the major inserting head in inserting. After the major inserting head is inserted, the magnetic force also assists the major inserting head in staying in the engaging state.
