METHODS OF PREPARING AN ISOLATED POPULATION OF DENDRITIC CELLS AND METHODS OF TREATING CANCER USING SAME
Disclosed are methods of preparing an isolated population of dendritic cells, isolated populations of dendritic cells prepared by the methods, and pharmaceutical compositions comprising the isolated population of dendritic cells. Also disclosed are methods of treating or preventing cancer using the isolated population of dendritic cells or pharmaceutical compositions.
GENERATION OF HPV-SPECIFIC T-CELLS
Embodiments of the disclosure concern methods and compositions for immunotherapy for human papillomavirus infection and diseases associated therewith. In specific embodiments, methods concern production of immune cells that target one or more antigens of HPV16 and/or HPV18, including methods with stimulation steps that employ IL-7 and IL-15, but not IL-6 and/or IL-12. Other specific embodiments utilize stimulations in the presence of certain cells, such as costimulatory cells and certain antigen presenting cells.
DELIVERY OF BIOMOLECULES TO IMMUNE CELLS
A method and device for preferentially delivering a compound such as an antigen to the cytosol of an immune cell. The method comprises passing a cell suspension comprising the target immune cell through a microfluidic device and contacting the suspension with the compound(s) or payload to be delivered.
METHOD FOR PREPARING ANTIGEN-SPECIFIC CYTOTOXIC T-CELLS BY USING ACTIVATED B-CELLS AND USE THEREOF
Disclosed in the present application are: a method for preparing in vitro/ex vivo antigen-specific cytotoxic T-cells by using B cells treated with biological response modifier; and a use thereof. The cytotoxic T-cells prepared by the method of the present application can be used advantageously for treating infectious disease and cancer and the like.
Cell selection method and cells obtained therefrom
The present invention relates to a method for the in vitro selection of at least one therapeutic cell subpopulation from an original cell population of eukaryotic cells, as well as to the therapeutic cell subpopulation selected by the method, which can be used for the treatment of diseases of tissues or organs. The selected cells are highly migrative and the method according to the invention provides for the selection of these highly migrative subpopulations from a sample comprising a mixture of cells.
Composition for maturing dendritic cells, and method for preparing antigen-specific dendritic cells using same
The present invention relates to a composition for maturing dendritic cells, comprising, as a maturation-promoting factor, Interleukin-1 (IL-1), Interleukin-6 (IL-6), Tumor necrosis factor- (TNF-), Interferon- (IFN-), Prostaglandin E2 (PGE2), Picibanil (OK432) and/or Poly IC. The composition for maturing dendritic cells of the present invention may have the effects of not only improving the ability of dendritic cells to induce an immune response, but also of decreasing the antigen non-specific immune response of dendritic cells and increasing antigen-specific immune response of dendritic cells, thus maximizing the effects of immunotherapy.
Ex vivo, fast and efficient process to obtain activated antigen-presenting cells that are useful for therapies against cancer and immune system-related diseases
The present invention relates to an ex vivo, fast and efficient process to obtain activated antigen-presenting cells that are useful for therapies against cancer and immune system-related diseases. At the same time, it is related to a cellular composition that contributes to stimulate the activated antigen-presenting cells to induce a specific immune response against tumors in patients with cancer or other pathologies involving immune responses.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING DENDRITIC CELLS
Described herein are compositions and methods for treating a disease, particularly a cancer, with primed dendritic cells recognizing a tumor antigen. The methods may comprise storing, shipping and/or culturing dendritic cells, where the dendritic cells are stored on a hard surface. Lysis protocols are described where the lysis does not result in complete lysis of cells in order to provide cell surface molecules maintained in a cell surface-embedded state. Non-lethal Dengue virus strains are also provided for therapeutic purposes.
TUMOR-INFILTRATING LYMPHOCYTES FOR ADOPTIVE CELL THERAPY
Disclosed are compositions and methods for ex vivo expansion of tumorinfiltrating lymphocytes for use in adoptive cell therapy (ACT). Also disclosed are compositions and method for identifying an agent for ex vivo expansion of tumorinfiltrating lymphocytes for use in ACT. Also disclosed are methods for treating cancer using tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes expanded by the disclosed methods.
