A suitcase having a base and a lid where the lid may be rotatable about a hinge from a closed configuration to an open configuration and may be secured, via one or more latching assemblies is disclosed. The lid may comprise an upper shell, and the base may comprise a lower shell. The upper shell and the lower shell may be seamlessly formed to create a water resistant and/or waterproof suitcase. The suitcase may have an extendable trolley handle assembly that is externally attached to the base of the suitcase. The trolley handle assembly may comprise a pair of extrusion assemblies that are connected to the base of the suitcase and connected to each other by a grip. The suitcase may also have a removably secured interior liner.

A wheeling apparatus for a suitcase has a wheeling frame defining a frame plane. Leaning wheels are secured to the wheeling leg assembly. Straps enable the apparatus to be removably secured to the suitcase. A flexible wire having a first end attached to the wheeling leg assembly and a second end attachable to a holding device that is configured to firmly hold the second end at an adjustable location thereon and which is so configured as to allow a user to selectively adjust an inclination angle at which the wheeling leg assembly extends relative to the frame plane during use of the apparatus.

As a result, when the extendible legs are extended, the lower shelf portion is separated from the body of the bag and sits beneath the body of the bag, attached to the legs. Rolling mechanisms can be provided at the bottom of the lower shelf portion to allow the bag to be moved about across a surface such as a tennis court.

An interface system includes a cam journal and is configured to actuate the locking/unlocking system by the handle axle. The cam journal includes a first end mechanically connected to the handle axle and a second end, opposite the first end, with a transmission tip having a contact face. In a first position of the grip portion, the locking/unlocking system is configured to lock the handle in a selected position. In a second position of the grip portion, obtained by the rotation of the grip portion, the locking/unlocking system is configured to unlock the handle.
