Hair styling device
A hair styling device comprising two hinged arms able to move relative to each other for the receiving and shaping of a strand of hair. Each arm carries a shaping plate on its side facing the other arm. These shaping surfaces making contact with the hair strand being styled. The hair being styled is pulled past these shaping surfaces. One of the two arms has a hair support on its side carrying the shaping plate. The hair support is arranged at a spacing from the shaping surface of the other arm, so that the other arm can be introduced into an arm support between the hair support and the shaping surface of the shaping plate of the arm carrying the hair support. The shaping plates of the two arms which cooperate with each other for the hair styling can move relative to each other in the manner of scissors.

ELECTRIC HAIR CURLER
An electric hair curler is provided, including a main housing assembly, at least two heating tube curling assemblies arranged in parallel, a hair splitter, two rotatable hair hook assemblies arranged in parallel, and a gear reversing assembly. The hair hook assembly is mounted on the main housing assembly, the heating tube curling assembly is mounted in the hair hook assembly, the hair splitter is mounted on the main housing assembly, and the heating tube curling assemblies are driven by only one motor assembly.
HAIR STYLING ACCESSORY
A hair styling accessory comprises a body supporting a pair of jaws defining a clamping space between them for receiving a tress of hair. The accessory is configured so that at least one of the jaws is movable to releasably clamp the tress of hair between the jaws. The movable jaw is actuated by air pressure. At least one of the jaws is configured to deliver a jet of air from the body to the clamping space.
Hairstyling Apparatus Using Steam via the Treatment Surface and With a Comb
Provided is a hairstyling apparatus (1) including a portable treatment unit (2) provided with two arms (3, 4) arranged to form a clamp provided with two treatment surfaces (5, 6) disposed opposite one another and enabling a lock of hair to be clamped therebetween, the portable treatment unit including steam-diffusion means (7) arranged to diffuse steam from a first (5) of the two surfaces towards the second (6) of the two surfaces, one of the arms (3, 4) including a comb (19) disposed downstream or upstream of one of the surfaces (5, 6) of the arm (3, 4).

Hairstyling Apparatus Using Steam with Steam-Confining Means
Provided is a hairstyling apparatus (I) including a portable treatment unit (2) provided with two arms (3, 4) arranged to form a clamp provided with two surfaces (5, 6) disposed opposite one another and enabling a lock of hair to be clamped therebetween. The portable treatment unit includes steam-diffusion means (7) arranged to diffuse steam from a first (5) of the two surfaces towards the second (6) of the two surfaces. The apparatus includes means (9, 10) for confining the diffused steam, between the two surfaces (5, 6) placed one against the other.
Automatic curling mechanism
An automatic curling iron includes at least two parallel prongs defining a gap aligned along a longitudinal axis. A rotation mechanism drives at least one of the prongs around the longitudinal axis. A thermally insulated handle holds the revolving mechanism with the two prongs extending. An electrical circuit housed in the housing powers the revolving mechanism heats at least one of the prongs. Optionally, the apparatus includes a stationary outer styling shell coupled to the housing and enclosing at least a portion of the prongs. The outer styling shell can be separated into sections so enable access to the gap and may be expandable. One or more fins of elastomeric high temperature material may be mounted to an interior of the styling shell and positioned to hold strands of hair against a heated one of the prongs.

SYSTEMS, DEVICES AND METHODS FOR STYLING HAIR
Devices and methods for styling hair, and in particular, to devices and methods for styling hair using electrolysis are described herein. A method for styling hair includes arranging a section of hair between a first electrode and a second electrode. The section of hair is contacted with an electrolyte before being arranged between the first and second electrodes, after being arranged between the first and second electrodes, and/or concurrently with being arranged between the first and second electrodes. The method further includes causing the first electrode to have a first negative potential, and causing the second electrode to have a second potential, such that the absolute value of the first negative potential is greater than the absolute value of the second potential, and such that the difference in electrical potential between the first electrode and the second electrode creates an electrolysis zone between the first electrode and the second electrode.
