HAIR STYLING APPLIANCE
A hair styling apparatus includes a plurality of heater electrodes which heat one or more hair styling heaters, a power source for powering the plurality of heater electrodes and a controller configured to control powering of the plurality of heater electrodes from the power source. The plurality of heaters includes a first subset and a second subset of heaters. The controller is configured to, in a first mode of operation; control the power source so that the first and second subsets are not simultaneously powered.
SYSTEMS, DEVICES AND METHODS FOR STYLING HAIR
Devices and methods for styling hair, and in particular, to devices and methods for styling hair using electrolysis are described herein. A method for styling hair includes arranging a section of hair between a first electrode and a second electrode. The section of hair is contacted with an electrolyte before being arranged between the first and second electrodes, after being arranged between the first and second electrodes, and/or concurrently with being arranged between the first and second electrodes. The method further includes causing the first electrode to have a first negative potential, and causing the second electrode to have a second potential, such that the absolute value of the first negative potential is greater than the absolute value of the second potential, and such that the difference in electrical potential between the first electrode and the second electrode creates an electrolysis zone between the first electrode and the second electrode.
DEVICE FOR TREATING THE HAIR
A device for treating the hair, having two hair treatment jaws that are movable relative to one another between a spaced-apart configuration and a moved-together configuration, an internal treatment member having an internal heating surface, which extends over one of the jaws towards the other of the jaws in the moved-together configuration and is configured to come into contact with the hair extending between the jaws, at least one internal treatment member having a first lateral edge and an opposite second lateral edge, the first lateral edge being configured such that an angle formed between a median plane of the device, extending between the jaws in the moved-together configuration of the jaws, and hair under mechanical tension, bearing on the first lateral edge, and on an outer surface of the corresponding jaw, adjacent to and separated from the internal treatment member, is less than or equal to 120, and strictly greater than 90.

Heated hair straightening accessory
In one aspect, a hair care accessory is provided and in one embodiment can include an elongate body. The elongate body can include an appliance mating portion configured to removably couple the elongate body to a hair care appliance. The appliance mating portion can have an air inlet configured to receive airflow from the hair care appliance. The elongate body can also include a clamping portion having a first heater assembly, and a plurality of air outlets extending longitudinally there along. The hair care accessory can also include an arm coupled to the elongate body. The arm can have a second heater assembly. The arm can be movable between an open position in which the second heater assembly is spaced from the first heater assembly, and a closed position in which the first and second heater assemblies are configured to clamp hair therebetween.
