PALM ROLLER FOR DREADLOCK FORMATION
Embodiments of the present invention provide a powered palm roller adapted to treat dreadlocks. In an embodiment of the invention, a powered palm roller is adapted to treat dreadlocks and includes dual holding parts each with a pad assembly affixed thereto at a distal end. The palm roller also includes an articulating joint disposed at an opposite end of each of the holding parts permitting a closing of the pad assemblies towards one another. Of note, at least one of the pad assemblies has an outwardly facing concave form, and at least one of the pad assemblies is slidably mounted to a corresponding one of the dual holding parts and actuatable back and forth along a portion of the corresponding one of the dual holding parts in consequence of a motor disposed within the corresponding one of the dual holding parts.
Dome comb apparatus
A dome comb system and method of manufacture can include: a dome body comprising: a dome peripheral support extending out from a dome inner surface toward a dome center, and a dome coupling element extending up from the bottom surface and along the dome outer surface; a locking ring comprising: a locking ring coupling element extending down from a locking ring top surface along the locking ring inner surface, and the dome coupling element together with the locking ring coupling element enabling the dome comb system to be in a coupled state or a decoupled state; and an insert comprising: a circular body, a screen.
Contoured And Chambered Hair Styling Device
Disclosed is a hair styling device and its employment in a specific styling method. The device comprises an elastomeric block having an elliptically-shaped substantially smooth top surface, a patterned, sculptured and textured bottom surface, and a continuous side panel integrally connected to the edges of both the top surface and the bottom surface. The bottom surface is further constructed with parallel V-shaped channels and a plurality of regularly-spaced circular chambers, the chambers being orthogonal to the bottom surface. The device is used by placing the bottom-located channels and chambers against sections of hair while simultaneously using varying pressure and rotary movement of the bottom surface upon the hair. In this manner the hair may be styled into a multiplicity of twists or spirals.
HAIR WAVING APPARATUS
A hair waving apparatus includes a handle component defining a longitudinal axis, and proximal and distal ends and a rotatable component operatively coupled to the handle component and adapted for rotatable movement about the longitudinal axis to engage a length of hair to impart a waving effect to the length of hair. The rotatable component includes a first treatment member and a second treatment member configured for relative movement between an open condition and an approximated condition. At least one of the first and second treatment members includes a heating element. A drive is operatively coupled to the rotatable component to impart rotational movement to the rotatable component.
Dreador
The Dreador is a energy saving, novel design, durable, lightweight, compact and portable It is a hairstyling
Tool that would ease the task of tightening, locking, and sealing dreadlocks. It would offer greater control while twisting hair into
Dreadlocks. This tool would provide a more attractive and professional result. The Dreador is approximately 3 inches in width and about
5 inches in length and an inch thick. It has a worm screw in the center of the apparatus, it also has teeth near the handles that interlock
For clamping hair, it also has rubber pads for gripping hair while twisting it and a swivel nob for this two step process. Dreador would be
wrought from aluminum alloy using hammer forging or drop forging alloyed with zinc, copper or nickel for strength and corrosion.
A manufacturer would determine the most effective forging process.
Powered Rotary Hair Styling Tool
A powered rotary hair styling tool includes an elongated housing, a drive arrangement positioned in the housing that includes a rotary motor and a power unit operatively connected thereto, and a comb that includes a shaft and teeth extending from the shaft. The shaft includes a projecting portion that extends into the housing and is operatively connected to the rotary motor to permit the rotary motor to rotate the shaft about its longitudinal axis.
