Disclosed herein is a hair styling appliance that include electrodes and a control system that energises the electrodes to heat hair dielectrically. A sensor assembly is used to sense a property of the hair for the hair styling apparatus. During operation, the control system be used to suspend energisation of the electrodes during sensing of the property of the hair by the sensor assembly.

HAIRCARE APPLIANCE

A haircare appliance is provided. The haircare appliance includes a body for engaging hair in use, a sensor arrangement, and a control unit. The sensor arrangement is configured to output a plurality of signals, each signal being indicative of a presence of an object at a respective region of the body. The control unit is configured to determine whether the object is hair based on temporal differences between the signals.

A hair curler comprises: a lower clamp body, comprising a heating seat for curling hair and a pair of grooves disposed at opposite sides of the heating sea; an upper clamp body, movably connected to the lower clamp body, the upper clamp body comprising an opening corresponding to the heating seat and protrusions disposed at opposite sides of the opening, the protrusions being aligned with the grooves respectively when the upper clamp body is closed to the lower clamp body; wherein the lower clamp body comprises a impeller for generating an airflow, and each groove comprises a bottom which defines vent holes to allow the airflow to enter the groove. While curling hair by the hair curler, air is accelerated by the impeller, and the accelerated air flows to the grooves via vent holes, timely cooling and protecting the hair, thereby enabling the hair to be quickly styled.

HAIR CURLER WITH BUTTON FOR MANUAL CONTROL OF FORWARD AND REVERSE ROTATION

A hair curler with a button for manual control of forward and reverse rotation includes a host machine housing, a heating passage, a manual rotating mechanism, and a curling toggle. The manual rotating mechanism includes a control button, a commutation sliding block, which are respectively arranged on the host machine housing, and a transmission assembly arranged inside the host machine housing. The commutation sliding block is connected to the transmission assembly. The transmission assembly is connected to the control button through engagement of transmission teeth. The curling toggle has one end that is connected to the transmission assembly through engagement of transmission teeth, so as to rotate under the control of the control button.

Disclosed is a roller structure with an adjustable diameter and a hair-tangling prevention function, including an end support and at least two heat conduction plates, where the end support is connected to end parts of the heat conduction plates, and a plurality of the heat conduction plates can be all moved radially relative to the end support in a radial direction of the end support; and the roller structure further includes a hair-tangling prevention member arranged on a periphery of a gap where the heat conduction plates are connected with the end support. Therefore, the roller structure can effectively prevent the hair filaments from being inserted into the gap of the roller structure, thereby improving the styling experience, efficiency and effect. The first circuit board is electrically connected to the heating member when the first conductive member abuts against the second conductive member.
