Vespidae wasp repellent
The objective of the present invention is to provide a repellent which has a selectivity. Specifically, the repellent does not cause damage to an Apidae bee but suppresses the aggression of a Vespidae wasp and prevents a Vespidae wasp from coming close and building a nest. Also, the objective of the present invention is to provide a method for repelling a Vespidae wasp. The Vespidae wasp repellent according to the present invention is characterized in comprising a compound represented by the following formula (I) as an active component: ##STR00001##
wherein R.sup.1 is hydrogen atom or the like, X is a C.sub.1-4 alkylene group or the like, α is a substituent, n is an integer of 0 or more and 5 or less.

Disinfecting solution wipes
This present invention relates to a pre-packaged set of disinfecting solution wipes used to prevent urinary tract and other infections, and reduce to bacterial growth. The wet wipes are stored in packages until needed, and are infused with a novel water and vinegar solution. The wipes can be applied multiple times a day to help eliminate odors, soothe skin, and reduce bacteria growth by neutralizing the pH of the user's skin. The wipes may also be used as a temporary bathing solution for those without immediate access to a shower or bathroom. The containers of the present invention are reusable, and feature a sealed lid to prevent the wet wipes from prematurely drying out.

Methods of preparing highly charged polyethylenimine and compositions and uses thereof
A method of preparing a disinfecting composition comprising charged polyethylenimine (PEI), the method comprising adding a base to an aqueous solution comprising a linear PEI hydrochloride solution to provide a linear PEI salt solution with a pH between 9-11, adding a first organic acid to reduce the pH to less than 7, removing about 20% to 100% of the salt from the solution, and optionally adding water and/or a second organic acid to obtain the disinfecting composition with a pH of 2-7. The method can further comprise adding at least one metal salt to the disinfecting composition. The resulting disinfecting solution can be used to provide antimicrobial products with enhanced antimicrobial performance, reduced toxicity, and/or able to leave a persistent “kill-later” film.
