Delivering foil leaves of selected lengths from an indeterminate length of foil
Apparatus and method deliver consecutive foil leaves of a selected length from a supply of foil of indeterminate length. An actuator system maintains a cutter at an elevation above a shearing blade, and then releases the cutter, in response to a sensor sensing that a selected length of foil has been delivered, so that the cutter, biased by gravity, drops to shear a foil leaf of selected length from the indeterminate length of foil. Subsequently, the actuator system returns the cutter to the elevation above the shearing blade where the cutter is maintained in readiness for a next-consecutive shearing operation.
Transparent Hair Treatment Sheet
In an embodiment, the present invention is a treatment sheet for separating portions of hair during a color processing treatment. In the embodiment, the treatment sheet is clear and transparent.
Apparatus and method for coloring or lightening hair
A paper device for coloring, highlighting, lowlighting and lightening hair that includes a pad having a plurality of sheets of water dissolvable and biodegradable paper wherein each sheet of paper has a first surface and a second surface; a plurality of colors, a lightener, highlighting agent or low lighting agent on the first surface; an inhibitor on the first surface; a coating of silicone on the second surface to prevent the bleeding of color through the sheet; and a water soluble adhesive strip on the second surface for securing the sheet on a client's hair. Each sheet may also have a heat seal coating applied to either surface that allows the sheet to be made into a dissolvable pouch, cone, corkscrew or other desirable shape. The colors may be used in organic or inorganic dyes, hennas, colors, stains or lighteners and may be infused, coated, imbibed or applied to the sheet using a tint brush or spray.
BIODEGRADABLE FILM HAVING AN ADHESIVE AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
In one aspect, there is provided a sheet comprising a biodegradable film having a first surface and an opposing second surface; and an adhesive, wherein the adhesive is applied to the first surface and wherein the sheet has a peel force of between about 0.02 pounds per inch to about 0.15 pounds per inch, preferably about 0.03 pounds per inch to about 0.1 pounds per inch, further preferably about 0.07 pounds per inch.
HAIR LIGHTENING WAND
In one embodiment, a hair lightening wand is provided, which includes an upper arm and lower arms having upper and lower heating plates, respectively. The arms are pivotally connected by a hinge. The upper and lower heating plates are separated by a gap of a fixed distance along an entire length of the upper and lower heating plates when the upper and lower arms are in a fully closed position. The gap between the upper and lower heating plates is unobstructed in a direction transverse to the upper and lower arms along a length of the upper and lower heating plates.
MINI BRAKE FOR HAIR COLOR PLACEMENT FOILS AND ITS METHOD OF USE
A hair folding and creasing brake device for creating pre-folded and creased triangular hair foils for dimensional hair color placement has a hinged sheet which is hinged so that foil sheets placed on its surface can be clamped and then bent to form a crease in the foil. A hair coloring foil is prepared by placing a foil or a pack of foils onto the device which is then folded over the foil to clamp the foil and then then folded again to bend the foil to impart a crease to the foil.
Foil applicator
Foil-type applicator for the selective lightening of keratin fibers, particularly human hair, and use of the applicators for producing targeted lightening effects on the hair.
Gelatinize hairdressing foil and its preparation method thereof
A gelatinize hairdressing foil and its preparation method are disclosed. One surface of said gelatinize hairdressing foil is a dark side, which contacts with hair, and an other surface of said gelatinize hairdressing foil is a bright side. Said dark side is provided with a zonal gelatinize layer. An anti-adhesive layer can be provided on said bright side. The hairdressing foil can contain an aluminum foil, can be provided with a release layer on said dark side, and can be provided with aluminum foils on both surfaces and a plastic film between said two aluminum foils. When quiff is put on said dark side, it is adhered by the release layer on the dark side. Therefore, the quiff is apt to form a layer instead of a tangle, and when liquid medicine for perming and dyeing is coated on hair, each hair could be coated with said liquid medicine.
Method and Apparatus for Dying Hair
An apparatus for applying coloring chemicals to hair, and a method thereof for applying said coloring chemicals. The apparatus for applying coloring chemicals having an applicator sheet and a sheet retainer; the applicator sheet providing a surface to apply coloring chemicals to a lock of hair and the sheet retainer providing a means for temporarily affixing the applicator sheet to the lock of hair. A first magnetic strip of the applicator sheet can be engaged with a second magnetic strip of the applicator sheet or a third magnetic strip; engagement with the second magnetic strip allowing the applicator sheet to be folded in half and affixed to the lock of hair. A liquid-impervious body of the applicator sheet prevents the coloring chemicals from seeping through the applicator sheet and allows the applicator sheet to be used to rinse the lock of hair.
Device and method for selectively bleaching or dyeing a plurality of locks of hair
The present invention relates to a device and method for selectively bleaching or dyeing a plurality of locks of hair. The device basically comprises a selector comb for selecting the locks to be treated from a portion of hair, and a container provided with at least one compartment that can internally house at least one liquid or pasty product for dyeing or bleaching. The selector comb is partially introduced inside the container and is movable inside and along same, being coupled thereto such that in an operating position of the device, the movement of the comb takes place, causing the gradual introduction of an increasingly longer portion of the locks selected by the comb inside the container at the same time as the gradual opening and communication of the inside of the compartment with the portion of the locks introduced therein, said portion being exposed to the liquid or pasty product.
