The invention relates to a cosmetic device for cleansing the hair, comprising: an ultrasonic transmitter, a handpiece comprising a probe cooperating with a counter-form so as to pinch the lock of hair between a bearing surface of the counter-form and a distal outer surface of the probe.

It also relates to the cosmetic method for cleansing the hair that uses said device, preferably with a cleansing composition comprising at least one surfactant.

A device for selectively entraining hair strands from the scalp has at least one hooking applicator, the at least one hooking applicator employing a hook that rotates to entrain the hair strands, a hair color container having hair color therein and a way to apply the hair color to the entrained hair stands. The at least one hooking applicator forms a channel between a surface of the hook and a surface of a body portion of the at least one hooking applicator having a hair color outlet therein to better accommodate high viscosity liquid hair color. The hook and/or the at least one hooking applicator includes a recess to hold entrained hair and permit hair color to fill the recess for application. A trigger mechanism first rotates the hook to entrain hair strands and then squeezes the hair color container to apply hair color to the entrained hair.

A system and method for applying color pigment from one or more different sticks of hair chalk. A chalk cartridge is disposed within an arm of a housing. The cartridge within the arm may hold one or more sticks of hair chalk for application to a set of hair strands. A user may use the housing to define the set of hair strands and use the device to apply pigment from the hair chalk onto the selected set of hair strands. In a case where the chalk cartridge holds multiple sticks of chalk, there may be included a mechanism to select a particular one of the multiple sticks of chalk for pigment application at any particular time, even for the same or different portions of the identified set of hair strands.

A hair beauty instrument for hair is provided. This hair beauty instrument includes a heating unit and a vibration unit. The vibration unit is configured to be in contact with the hair and apply vibration to the hair. The heating unit is configured to be in contact with the hair and apply heat to the hair, and can set a temperature of a part to be in contact with the hair at 100 C. or more.

The trigger mechanism operates to entrain hair using the hooking application and apply hair color to the hair from the hair color container.

A hair color applicator includes a first gripper arm, a second gripper arm and a hinge. The first gripper arm has an applicator panel. The second gripper arm has an applicator panel. The hinge couples the first gripper arm to the second gripper arm so as to have the applicator panels movable relative to each other toward and into a generally abutting position. Each of the gripper arms may have a reservoir disposed on the respective applicator panel which is configured to retain a hair colorant.

A device for selectively entraining hair strands from the scalp has at least one hooking or a clamping applicator, the at least one hooking applicator employing a hook that rotates to entrain the hair strands, and the clamping application employing a flat plate. A hair product container having a styling product or hair color therein is provided. The device also includes a mechanism to apply the hair product to the entrained hair stands. The mechanism using a hooking applicator can include a worm gear.

Device for applying free-flowing hair dye to regions of hair includes a housing having a handle with a housing interior for receiving the free-flowing hair dye. The housing has a cover with a row of hair receptacles arranged next to one another in a longitudinal direction of the housing and extend in a channel-like manner in a transverse direction of the housing, which each open towards the housing exterior for the insertion of regions of hair. In a first set of hair receptacles, the hair receptacles are connected to the housing interior via dispensing openings for hair dye, and hair-dye-free hair receptacles of a second set are arranged between the hair receptacles of the first set. A supply element is arranged in the housing interior for supplying hair dye from the housing interior to the dispensing openings of the hair receptacles of the first set.

A hair clamp adapter is configured for attachment to and use with a formulation delivery device to controllably and evenly apply a cosmetic composition, such as a viscous or thickly lathered composition, to strands of hair of an individual. The hair clamp adapter includes a first compressible substrate and a second compressible substrate configured for passage of composition expelled from the formulation delivery device therethrough, such that contact of the first and second compressible substrates evenly distributes the composition between the compressible substrates for even and reliable application to the hair.
