A detection wave from a transmitting/receiving means is guided to the interior of a blast furnace via an antenna and a reflecting plate, and when a reflected wave from the surface of a loaded material is reflected by the reflecting plate and received by the transmitting/receiving means, the reflecting plate is rotated together with the antenna, or the reflecting plate is rotated additionally, and the surface profile of the loaded material is measured by scanning the surface of the loaded material in a linear manner or a planar manner during the turning of a chute or for each prescribed turn of the chute. A deposition profile is obtained on the basis of this surface profile and is compared to a predetermined theoretical deposition profile, and the chute is controlled so as to correct the error with respect to the theoretical deposition profile and then which new loaded material is introduced.

RAW MATERIAL PARTICLES FOR PRODUCTION OF AGGLOMERATE, METHOD FOR PRODUCING RAW MATERIAL PARTICLES FOR PRODUCTION OF AGGLOMERATE, AGGLOMERATE, METHOD FOR PRODUCING AGGLOMERATE, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING REDUCED IRON

Provided is a raw material particle for production of agglomerate that can be used to produce an agglomerate with better reducing performance than conventional agglomerates. The raw material particle 1(2) of the present disclosure is a raw material particle for producing an agglomerate as a raw material for producing reduced iron, including a central part 11(21), and a peripheral part 12(22) that covers the periphery of the central part 11(21). The central part 11 has a metal iron-containing substance, the central part 12 has a volatile substance, and the peripheral part 12(22) has iron oxide.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING PIG IRON

A method for producing pig iron may use a blast furnace with a tuyere. Such a method may include: charging a first layer containing an iron ore material and a second layer containing coke alternately in the blast furnace; and reducing and melting the iron ore material in the charged first layer while injecting an auxiliary reductant into the blast furnace by hot air blown from the tuyere. An aggregate containing a reduced iron molded product obtained through compression molding of reduced iron may be blended into the first layer. The iron ore material may contain iron ore pellets as a principal material. An average basicity of the reduced iron molded product may be less than or equal to 0.5, and an average basicity of the iron ore pellets may be greater than or equal to 0.9.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING PIG IRON

A method for producing pig iron using a blast furnace containing a tuyere, including stacking a first layer including an iron ore material and a second layer including coke alternately in the blast furnace, charging the coke to a central portion of the blast furnace, and reducing and melting the iron ore material in the first layer while injecting an auxiliary reductant into the blast furnace by hot air blown from the tuyere. In the stacking, the charging of the coke is carried out once or a plurality of times during one charge of stacking a stacking unit composed of one of the first layer and one of the second layer, and a ratio R of a mass (ton/ch) of the coke accumulated in the central portion to a mass of the iron ore material charged in the one charge is greater than or equal to a predetermined value a.

SURFACE DETECTION APPARATUS FOR BLAST FURNACE

A surface detection apparatus for a blast furnace is provided. An antenna is fixed to a side of a container attached to an opening portion of the blast furnace and having a bottom surface opened in correspondence to the opening portion. A reflection plate is disposed in the container immediately above the opening portion so as to face the opening portion and the antenna. A tilt angle varying mechanism and a rotation mechanism for the reflection plate are configured as a double pipe structure and are provided at an anti-antenna side of the reflection plate.

PIG IRON-PRODUCING METHOD AND IRON ORE MATERIAL

A method for producing pig iron using a blast furnace comprising a tuyere, the method including: charging a first layer containing an iron ore material and a second layer containing coke alternately in the blast furnace; and reducing and melting the iron ore material in the stacked first layer while injecting an auxiliary reductant into the blast furnace by hot air blown from the tuyere, in which: the iron ore material contains a plurality of reduced iron molded products obtained by compression molding reduced iron; the reduced iron molded product is in a rectangular shape chamfered in a plan view, having on both faces a bulge resulting from a center portion being thicker than a peripheral portion; and a length ratio of a longer side to a shorter side of the reduced iron molded product in the plan view is less than or equal to 1.5.
