Control of the working frequency of an impact mechanism
Control device of an impact mechanism operable by a pressure media having an element for reversing the axial pressurization of the percussion piston and the return of the medium. In order to achieve a controllability of impact mechanisms by which the energy and the frequency of the moved percussion piston can be adjusted, at least one channel switchable by the reversal as a return line for the medium from the percussion hammer has at least one switchable element for the flow control.
PNEUMATIC DRILLING DEVICE
A pneumatic drilling device comprising: an impact manifold or cylinder in fluid communication with a rotary air manifold or gear box; and a single air inlet. The single air inlet may be in fluid communication with the impact manifold or cylinder.
Method and Device for Repairing a Refractory Shell of a Metallurgical Vessel
The invention relates to a method and to a device for repairing the spout sleeve (6) of a metallurgical vessel which is fitted securely within the refractory lining (4, 5) of the vessel (1). According to the invention the sleeve is repaired by applying mortar to the casting channel (7) of the sleeve (6) with a mortar dispenser (9) that can be inserted into the casting channel (7), which upon removing the mortar dispenser from the casting channel calibrates the latter over the entire length of the channel. The mortar dispenser (9) is driven rotating coaxially to the casting channel (7) during the mortar application and, after a defined time, is removed from the casting channel (7), still rotating. The method is particularly suitable for repairing the inner sleeve of a casting ladle with a slide closure adjoining the ladle spout, maintenance of which is automatically carried out in a maintenance station of the casting facility. In this case the invention makes provision such that the repair of the inner sleeve is also carried out automatically here during the maintenance of the slide closure.
Tap hole plug gun
A tap hole plug gun comprising a material chamber for receiving a plugging compound and a mouthpiece for being placed on a tap hole, the mouthpiece being connected to a nozzle part disposed on the material chamber by means of an unlockable connection device. The connection device is realized as a hinged joint arrangement, the hinged joint arrangement having two opposite hinged joints each having a joint bolt which can be removed from the connection to a joint plate arrangement.

APPARATUS FOR SHAVING TAP HOLE SURFACE OF BLAST FURNACE OR THE LIKE
An apparatus for shaving a tap hole surface of a blast furnace or the like wherein efficiency can be improved, and a worker can be freed from physically burdensome work in the vicinity of the lower furnace wall of a blast furnace under high temperature. The apparatus includes a surface shaving unit having smoothing bits, and a rotating mechanism unit that, when the surface shaving unit is pressed against the tap hole surface, rotates the surface shaving unit, by utilizing the pressing force, by a predetermined angle in a predetermined direction substantially parallel to the surface, and holds the surface shaving unit at the rotated position. The rotating mechanism unit eliminates the need for work such that every time a conventional surface shaving unit is separated from the tap hole surface after being pressed against the surface, a worker manually rotates the surface shaving unit by a predetermined angle.

Device for supplying rinsing medium in a hammer drill
A device for supplying a rinsing medium to a tool of a hammer drill and a hammer drill. The device includes at least one of a rotatable and axially displaceable drilling tool holder having at least one supply channel for the rinsing medium, a transfer part interacting with the drilling tool holder, a housing, a feeder structured and shaped essentially in an axially symmetrical manner, and a holding part with a rinsing medium inlet. The feeder and the holding part are arranged as a connected component, and friction bearings are arranged on both sides of the feeder and arranged toward the drilling tool holder. The holding part is structured to be radially displaceable within limits via bending with respect to at least one of the housing and a fixing ring connected to the housing, but positively fixed tangentially.
