A structural steel having excellent brittle fracture resistance according to an aspect of the present invention comprises, by weight %, 0.02-0.12% of C, 0.01-0.8% of Si, 1.5-2.5% of Mn, 0.005-0.5% of Al, 0.02% or less of P, 0.01% or less of S, 0.0015-0.015% of N, and the remainder of Fe and unavoidable impurities, wherein an outer surface layer portion and an inner central portion are microstructurally divided along the thickness direction, the surface layer portion comprises tempered bainite as a matrix structure, the central portion comprises bainitic ferrite as a matrix structure, and the NDT temperature by the NRL drop-weight test may be −70° C. or lower.

The present invention relates to a steel material used as materials for building structures, ship structures, offshore structures, or the like and, more specifically, to a steel material having low yield ratio and excellent weld heat affected zone toughness and a manufacturing method therefor.

This hot-rolled steel sheet has a predetermined chemical composition, in which in a case where the thickness is denoted by t, a metallographic structure at a t/4 position from the surface includes, by area fraction, 77.0% to 97.0% of bainite or tempered martensite, 0% to 5.0% of ferrite, 0% to 5.0% of pearlite, 3.0% or more of residual austenite, and 0% to 10.0% of martensite, in the metallographic structure, the average grain size excluding the residual austenite is 7.0 μm or less, the average number density of iron-based carbides having a diameter of 20 nm or more is 1.0×10.sup.6 carbides/mm.sup.2 or more, a tensile strength is 980 MPa or more, and an average Ni concentration on the surface is 7.0% or more.
HIGH STRENGTH STEEL PLATE FOR STRUCTURE WITH GOOD SEAWATER CORROSION RESISTANT PROPERTY AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SAME
The present invention provides a high strength steel plate for a structure and a method of manufacturing same, wherein the high strength steel plate fora structure comprises, by weight %, 0.03% (inclusive) to 0.1% (exclusive) of C, 0.1% (inclusive) to 0.8% (exclusive) of Si, 0.3% (inclusive) to 1.5% (exclusive) of Mn, 0.5% (inclusive) to 1.5% (exclusive) of Cr, 0.1% (inclusive) to 0.5% (exclusive) of Cu, 0.01% (inclusive) to 0.08% (exclusive) of Al, 0.01% (inclusive) to 0.1% (exclusive) of Ti, 0.05% (inclusive) to 0.1% (exclusive) of Ni, 0.002% (inclusive) to 0.07% (exclusive) of Nb, 0.03% or less of P, 0.02% or less of S, and the balance of Fe and unavoidable impurities, and has a microstructure comprising, by area fraction, 20% or more of bainite, less than 80% of polygonal ferrite and acicular ferrite in total, and less than 10% of pearlite and MA as the other phases.
HOT-ROLLED STEEL SHEET
This hot-rolled steel sheet has a predetermined chemical composition. The metallographic structure at a sheet thickness ¼ depth from a surface and at a center position in a sheet width direction in a sheet width cross section parallel to a rolling direction contains, by area %, 77.0% to 97.0% of bainite and tempered martensite in total, 0% to 5.0% of ferrite, 0% to 5.0% of pearlite, 3.0% or more of residual austenite, and 0% to 10.0% of martensite. The average grain size of the metallographic structure excluding the residual austenite is 7.0 μm or less. The C concentration in the residual austenite is 0.5 mass % or more. The number density of iron-based carbides having a diameter of 20 nm or more is 1.0×10.sup.6 carbides/mm.sup.2 or more.
STEEL SHEET
A steel sheet including a steel micro-structure containing, in volume fraction, tempered martensite: 85% or more, retained austenite: 5% or more to less than 15%, and ferrite, pearlite, bainite, and as-quenched martensite being less than 10% in total, when contents of Mn and C in the retained austenite are denoted by Mn.sub.A and C.sub.A, and when contents of Mn and C in a matrix are denoted by Mn.sub.M and C.sub.M, respectively, following Formulas (1) to (3) are satisfied, and the number of carbides having an equivalent circle radius of 0.1 μm or more is 100 or less in a region measuring 20000 μm.sup.2, and the steel sheet has a tensile strength of 1100 MPa or more. The steel sheet is excellent in crash resistance and formability.

The present disclosure has as its object the provision of non-oriented electrical steel sheet excellent in magnetic properties which is free from any drop in magnetic flux density even after stress relief annealing and a method for manufacturing the same.

ULTRA-HIGH STRENGTH STEEL SHEET HAVING EXCELLENT SHEAR WORKABILITY AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
The present invention relates to a steel sheet which is suitable to be used as the material of a part such as a friction plate for a vehicle automatic transmission. More specifically, the present invention relates an ultra-high strength steel sheet having excellent shear workability and a method for manufacturing same.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING OF STAINLESS STEEL STRIPS
The invention relates to a method for manufacturing strips of stainless steel, comprising hot rolling in an initial process (A) and subsequently cold rolling in a cold rolling line (B). The hot rolling is stopped when the strip thickness has been reduced to a thickness between 2.0 mm and 6.5 mm. The subsequent cold rolling is passed at least one time through said cold rolling line, which comprises in the following order: At least one cold rolling mill (11-13) in the initial part of the line, at least one annealing section (17), a scale breaking step (21), a shot blasting step (23) and at least one pickling section (26, 27) utilizing a mixture of nitric acid HNO.sub.3, hydrofluoric acid HF and optionally sulphuric acid H.sub.2SO.sub.4.
