STEEL MATERIAL TO BE STARTING MATERIAL OF CARBONITRIDED BEARING COMPONENT
The steel material includes a chemical composition containing, in mass %, C: 0.15 to 0.45%, Si: 0.50% or less, Mn: 0.20 to 0.60%, P: 0.015% or less, S: 0.005% or less, Cr: 0.80 to 1.50%, Mo: 0.17 to 0.30%, V: 0.24 to 0.40%, Al: 0.005 to 0.100%, N: 0.0300% or less, O: 0.0015% or less, and the balance being Fe and impurities, and satisfying Formula (1) to Formula (4) described in Embodiment, wherein, in its microstructure, a total area fraction of ferrite and pearlite is 10.0% or more, and a proportion of a content of V (mass %) in electrolytic extraction residue to the content of V (mass %) in the chemical composition is 10.0% or less.
Stud-weldable rebar
A stud-weldable rebar and a method for making the rebar are disclosed. The rebar has a steel body with a weld end and a diameter that is substantially uniform along a length of the body. A tip portion at the weld end includes a hardened zone and a base portion is formed of the remaining steel body. The hardened zone has a hardness that is about 1.5-3.0 times greater than a hardness of the base portion. Induction hardening is used to form the hardened zone.
Stabilizer
A stabilizer formed by using a metal bar having a solid structure and configured to reduce a displacement between right and left wheels, including a torsion part extending in a vehicle width direction, being capable of a torsional deformation, and having a diameter of 10 to 32 mm, is provided. The stabilizer has a chemical composition containing at least C: 0.15% by mass or more to 0.39% by mass or less, Mn, B, and Fe, and also has a metal structure 90% or more of which is a martensite structure.
HIGH-STRENGTH AND CORROSION-RESISTANT SUCKER ROD AND PREPARATION PROCESS THEREOF
A high-strength and corrosion-resistant sucker rod and a preparation process thereof are disclosed. Raw materials for preparing the high-strength and corrosion-resistant sucker rod include, by weight percent, Mn: 0.70% to 1.20%, Cr: 9.50% to 13.50%, Ni: 0.65% to 1.10%, Mo: 0.10% to 0.90%, Cu: 0.28% to 0.56%, C: ≤0.07%, Si: ≤0.50%, P: ≤0.08%, and S: ≤0.005%, the balance is Fe and unavoidable impurities. The sucker rod prepared by the new process has an actual grain size equal to or greater than grade 8, excellent mechanical properties that meet the standard of grade HL specified in SY/T5029 Sucker Rods, and excellent corrosion fatigue resistance. The preparation process is simple and easy for operation, and suitable for large-scale promotion.
METHOD OF HEAT TREATING AN ARTICLE
The invention describes a method of heat-treating an article, which includes a first step of heating the article to a temperature of 400° C. to 500° C. at a pressure of 1 to 3 millibar in an atmosphere comprising hydrogen for a period of 0.1 to 50 hours to produce a hot article, a second step of heating the hot article at a temperature of 400° C. to 500° C. at a pressure of 1 to 3 millibar in an atmosphere comprising at least one of hydrogen, argon, and nitrogen, for 0.1 to 50 hours to produce a preliminary heat treated article, and a third step of heating the preliminary heat treated article at a temperature of 400° C. to 500° C. at a pressure of 1 to 3 millibar in an atmosphere comprising at least one of hydrogen, nitrogen, and a hydrocarbon gas, for 0.1 to 50 hours; to produce a heat-treated article.
NPR NON-MAGNETIC STEEL MATERIAL FOR ROCK BOLT AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF
An NPR non-magnetic steel material for rock bolt and a production method thereof are disclosed. The NPR non-magnetic steel material for rock bolt has a composition, in weight percent, consisting of: C: 0.4-0.7%, Mn: 15-20%, Cr: 1-18%, Si: 0.3-3%, Ca: 0.05-0.15%, Cu: ≤0.03%, Ni: ≤0.02%, S: ≤0.001%, P: ≤0.001%, and the rest being Fe and unavoidable impurity elements. The NPR non-magnetic steel material for rock bolt and the production method thereof effectively solve the problems of steel materials for rock bolt in the prior art such as strong magnetism, low tensile strength and low effective elongation. The NPR non-magnetic steel material for rock bolt has a fully-austenitized structure and is non-magnetic, its yield strength is adjustable in the range of 600-1000 MPa, and its elongation is adjustable in the range of 20-60%.
Production method for stabilizers
The invention provides a production method for stabilizers which produces with high productivity in a compact production line, without tempering. The production method for stabilizers of the invention includes: forming a steel bar material containing at least C: 0.15 wt % to 0.39 wt %, Mn, B and Fe into a product shape by bending; and quenching the bent steel bar material in a medium having a heat transfer coefficient higher than or close to that of water.

The method comprises compressing the workpiece along a central axis of the workpiece and. simultaneously with compressing the workpiece along the central axis, twisting the workpiece about the central axis. The method further comprises. while compressing the workpiece along the central axis and twisting the workpiece about the central axis, translating the annular body along the working, axis of the high-pressure-torsion apparatus, collinear with the central axis of the workpiece, and heating the workpiece with the heater.
