Double-sided comb for a hair-cutting device
The invention relates to a comb (100) for being attached to a hair-cutting device (115). The comb includes two surfaces (103, 104) to be in contact with the skin of the user. Each surface includes a slot (105, 106) for attaching the comb to the hair-cutting device, and both surfaces have a common edge (107). When the hair-cutting device is attached to the slot of the first surface, the second surface is in contact with the skin, and when the hair-cutting device is attached to the slot of the second surface, the first surface is in contact with the skin. An asymmetric arrangement of the two slots allows for two cutting lengths of hair with one double-sided comb.
Case for Portable Devices which Holds Removable Tools
People carry electronic devices on their person which have cases to protect electronic devices from falls. People also carry a variety of tools on their persons. Existing cases rarely have integrated tools and when they do the utility of the case and the tool are both reduced. The present invention is a protective case for electronic devices which securely stores tools inside the case. The tools are fully removable from the case. The tools are retained in the case by geometric interference between the tool and the case.

A hair information collection device for providing information relating to hair of a user includes a device body having at least first and second regions configured such that the hair of the user is movable between the first and second regions while in contact with the first and second regions, at least one microphone arranged in or on the device body for detecting a noise during movement of the hair between the first and second regions, a speed sensor circuit arranged in or on the device body and comprising at least one sensor for determining a value representing the speed of the device body, and an electronic circuit device arranged in or on the device body, wherein the electronic circuit device is configured to provide the user with information regarding the hair based on the received detected noise and the speed of the device body.

Light Delivery Apparatus with Optical Comb
A light delivery apparatus includes a housing, an optical comb coupled to the housing, and at least one light source inside the housing. The optical comb includes a platform and an array of solid light guides extending from the platform. The optical comb includes an input surface and an exit surface. Substantially all light emitted by the light guides exits from the exit surfaces when in operation as provided by a reflective coating on each of the four or more light guides, as provided by a geometric shape of each of the four or more light guides, or both. The at least one light source is positioned to irradiate the input surfaces when the at least one light source is energized. Also, the at least one light source includes at least one light-emitting diode (LED) unit or at least one laser diode.
Light Delivery Apparatus with Optical Comb
A light delivery apparatus includes a housing, an optical comb coupled to the housing, and at least one light source inside the housing. The optical comb includes a platform and an array of solid light guides extending from the platform. The optical comb includes an input surface and an exit surface. Substantially all light emitted by the light guides exits from the exit surfaces when in operation as provided by a reflective coating on each of the four or more light guides, as provided by a geometric shape of each of the four or more light guides, or both. Razor comb hair tool
A razor comb hair tool and a kit containing the same are disclosed. Embodiments include an elongated guard member having an exterior with first and second opposing edges and a hollowed interior defining a cavity, wherein the first edge includes a plurality of spaced apart comb teeth and the second edge includes an opening allowing access to the cavity. A razor blade may optionally be positioned within the cavity. Embodiments also include a handle member adapted along a first edge to make a slidable connection with the second edge of the guard member. When the slidable connection is made, access to the opening and/or razor blade is obstructed.
Lice Comb
A lice comb (10) comprising a housing (12) having a planar lower wall portion (14), an upper wall portion (16) and a side wall portion (18). A comb unit (20) comprising a blade (22) having a plurality of teeth (24) is moveable from a retracted position, in which the blade (22) is parallel to the lower wall portion (14), and an extended position, in which the blade (22) extends at an angle away from the lower wall portion (14). A fan unit is provided within the housing (12) such that the fan unit operates to draw air inwardly through an opening (30) in the lower wall portion (14) adjacent the comb unit (20). When the blade (20) is in the extended position, the housing (12) may be moved to draw the teeth (24) through hair such that lice captured by the teeth (24) are drawn in through the opening (30).

A lice comb (10) comprising a housing (12) having a planar lower wall portion (14), an upper wall portion (16) and a side wall portion (18). A comb unit (20) comprising a blade (22) having a plurality of teeth (24) is moveable from a retracted position, in which the blade (22) is parallel to the lower wall portion (14), and an extended position, in which the blade (22) extends at an angle away from the lower wall portion (14). A fan unit is provided within the housing (12) such that the fan unit operates to draw air inwardly through an opening (30) in the lower wall portion (14) adjacent the comb unit (20). When the blade (20) is in the extended position, the housing (12) may be moved to draw the teeth (24) through hair such that lice captured by the teeth (24) are drawn in through the opening (30).
