COLD ROLLED FLAT STEEL PRODUCT FOR PACKAGING AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A STEEL FLAT PRODUCT
A cold rolled steel flat product for packaging made of a low carbon steel having a thickness of less than 0.49 mm and a method of making. The steel flat product has a martensite-free microstructure and represents a standard grade for packaging with tensile strengths from 300 to 550 MPa, which can be produced from a cold-rolled steel sheet with a carbon content from 0.01% to 0.1% by weight by inductive annealing of the steel sheet and subsequent water cooling for quenching the recrystallization-annealed steel sheet. To achieve flatness of 5 I-units or less, the induction annealed steel sheet is first primarily cooled in the manufacturing process to a take-off temperature at a rate of less than 1000 K/s, with the take-off temperature being below the transformation temperature of 723° C., and thereafter a secondary cooling by water cooling with a water temperature of less than 80° C. at a rate of more than 1000 K/s.
High carbon steel track bushing
An example bushing has three portions along its radial direction including an inner portion most proximal to a central hole of the bushing, an outer portion most distal from the center hole, and a core portion between the inner portion and the outer portion. The core portion has a hardness that is less than the hardness of the inner portion or the outer portion of the bushing. The bushing may be formed using high carbon steel, which in some cases may be spheroidal cementite crystal structure. A rough bushing may be formed using the high carbon steel, followed by a direct hardening process, and an induction hardening process on the inner surface most proximal to the central hole of the bushing. The induction hardening on the inner surface may harden the outer portion while tempering the core portion of the bushing.

A high-strength steel includes a steel structure with: in area fraction, 60.0% to less than 90.0% of ferrite, 0% to less than 5.0% of unrecrystallized ferrite, 2.0% to 25.0% of martensite, 0% to 5.0% of carbide, and 0% to 3.0% of bainite; in volume fraction, more than 7.0% of retained austenite; in a cross-sectional view of 100 μm×100 μm, a value obtained by dividing number of retained austenite that are not adjacent to retained austenite whose crystal orientations are different by a total number of retained austenite being less than 0.80, an average crystal grain size of the ferrite being 6.0 μm or less, an average crystal grain size of the retained austenite being 3.0 μm or less, and a value obtained by dividing, by mass %, an average content of Mn in the retained austenite by an average content of Mn in steel being 1.50 or more.
Steel sheet for manufacturing press hardened parts, press hardened part having a combination of high strength and crash ductility, and manufacturing methods thereof
A steel sheet for the manufacture of a press hardened part is provided, having a composition of: 0.15%≤C≤0.22%, 3.5%≤Mn<4.2%, 0.001%≤Si≤1.5%, 0.020%≤Al≤0.9%, 0.001%≤Cr≤1%, 0.001%≤Mo≤0.3%, 0.001%≤Ti≤0.040%, 0.0003%≤B≤0.004%, 0.001%≤Nb≤0.060%, 0.001%≤N≤0.009%, 0.0005%≤S≤0.003%, 0.001%≤P≤0.020%. A microstructure has less than 50% ferrite, 1% to 20% retained austenite, cementite, such that the surface density of cementite particles larger than 60 nm is lower than 10{circumflex over ( )}7/mm.sup.2, and a complement of bainite and/or martensite, the retained austenite having an average Mn content of at least 1.1*Mn %. Press-hardened steel part obtained by hot forming the steel sheet, and manufacturing methods thereof.

An ultrahigh-strength spring steel, used as steel for a vehicle engine valve spring may include 0.5 to 0.7 wt % of C, 1.3 to 2.5 wt % of Si, 0.6 to 1.2 wt % of Mn, 0.6 to 1.5 wt % of Cr, 0.01 to 0.5 wt % of Mo, 0.01 to 0.9 wt % of Ni, 0.5 wt % or less (excluding 0 wt %) of V, 0.5 wt % or less (excluding 0 wt %) of Nb, 0.3 wt % or less (excluding 0 wt %) of Ti, 1.0 wt % or less (excluding 0 wt %) of Co, 0.1 wt % or less (excluding 0 wt %) of B, 0.3 wt % or less (excluding 0 wt %) of W, 0.3 wt % or less (excluding 0 wt %) of Cu, 0.3 wt % or less (excluding 0 wt %) of Al, 0.03 wt % or less (excluding 0 wt %) of N, 0.003 wt % or less (excluding 0 wt %) of O, and a remainder of Iron (Fe) and inevitable impurities.

High strength steel sheet having excellent high-temperature elongation characteristic, warm-pressed member, and manufacturing methods for the same
Provided is a high strength steel sheet having an excellent high-temperature elongation characteristic. The sheet includes, by weight %, 0.4-0.9% of C, 0.01-1.5% of Cr, 0.03% or less (exclusive of 0%) of P, 0.01% or less (exclusive of 0%) of S, 0.01% or less (exclusive of 0%) of N, 0.01% or less (exclusive of 0%) of sol. Al, and a balance of Fe and inevitable impurities, and comprises at least one among 2.1% or less (exclusive of 0%) of Mn and 1.6% or less (exclusive of 0%) of Si; the sheet has a microcrystalline structure including pearlite having an area fraction of 80% or more and ferrite having an area fraction of 20% or less; and the pearlite includes cementite having a major axis length of 200 nm or shorter.
Steel sheet and manufacturing method therefor

The purpose of one aspect of the present disclosure is to provide: a cold rolled steel sheet for a flux-cored wire, having excellent low temperature toughness, welding workability and processability; and a manufacturing method thereof. One embodiment of the present disclosure provides: a cold rolled steel sheet for a flux-cored wire, comprising, by wt %, 0.005-0.10% of C, 0.05-0.25% of Mn, 0.05% or less of Si (excluding 0%), 0.0005-0.01% of P, 0.008% or less of S (excluding 0%), 0.005-0.06% of Al, 0.0005-0.003% of N, 0.8-1.7% of Ni, 0.1-0.5% of Cr, and a balance of Fe and inevitable impurities, and having 0.10-0.75 of WN defined by Relationship 1 below; and a manufacturing method therefor.
