Examples relating to twisted teeth combs are described herein. An example apparatus may include a base with one or more twisted teeth attached. Particularly, each twisted tooth may have a twisted structure, such as a structure similar to a twist drill bit used by a power drill. As such, the arrangement of the teeth on the apparatus can vary within examples. For instance, the apparatus can include straight teeth and twisted teeth arranged in an alternating order. Additionally, in some implementations, an example apparatus relating to twisted teeth combs can include one or more components, such as a handle connected to the base and/or a storage compartment configured to receive and hold liquids (e.g., hair gel) or substances.

In an exemplary embodiment, a tool for hair care generally includes a handle, a supporting structure extending distally from the handle, and a plurality of curved teeth having curved cross sections. Each tooth terminates in a rounded tip. A lateral one of the teeth extends generally distally from a lateral portion of the supporting structure. At least some others of the teeth extend generally distally from a distal portion of the supporting structure. Tool embodiments can alleviate hair care and styling problems encountered by users who have curly, coarse, and/or coiled hair.

A formulation delivery appliance can be used for treatment of the hair and scalp, such as an appliance used to color hair. The appliance may include a delivery device having a pump configured to draw formulation from a container and discharge the fluid through a manifold to a head that includes at least one nozzle and a plurality of standoff protrusions. The delivery device may further include a blocking member that isolated formulation in delivery device from ambient air when the blocking member is in a blocking position and allows the pump to discharge formulation from the nozzle when the blocking member is in an open position. The delivery device is mountable to a docking station with a storage tank containing cleaning fluid. The docking station provides cleaning fluid to the delivery device when the delivery device is mounted thereto.

A formulation delivery appliance can be used for treatment of the hair and scalp, such as an appliance used to color hair. An apparatus for styling hair includes a first electrode and a second electrode spaced apart from the first electrode. An electrolyte reservoir can be disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode, and is configured to maintain a volume of an electrolyte between the first electrode and the second electrode. A control module is electrically coupled to the first electrode and the second electrode. The control module is operable to bias the first electrode at a first potential and the second electrode at a second potential to create an electrical potential difference between the first electrode and the second electrode. The electrical potential difference is configured to produce an electrolysis zone in the electrolyte disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode. The electrolysis zone is configured to style hair disposed in the electrolysis zone between the first electrode and the second electrode.

The device combines the detangling capability of a comb or brush with the ability to massage lotions and other hair treatments into the hair follicles and through the entire length of each hair strand. A two-jaw clamping or clamshell design is provided with an interchangeable brush or comb element attached to one of the jaws and a pair of soft rollers extending from the other jaw element. The two jaws are detachable from one another in order to permit the user to operate the comb or brush portion separate from the rollers. When fully assembled, the comb or brush protrudes through the pair of rollers when the jaws of the device are clamped together. There may be an additional mechanism within the device to provide internal vibrations in the housing to propagate through the entire device and into the user's hair in order to aid in the detangling, smoothing and treatment application processes. One or more additional versions may also include vibrating or oscillating rows of bristles in the brush or comb element. Another embodiment provides a combination motor and offset weight on the end of the upper jaw assembly. In another form, the upper housing and jaw assembly are separable from the lower jaw assembly and housing, so as to provide a vibrating comb/brush without the need to use the rollers on the lower jaw assembly.

A hair comb and applicator device (1) is disclosed, comprising: a body (10, 20) enclosing a reservoir (5) for containing a hair treatment substance; a plurality of teeth (40) arranged in at least one row; and a roller (30), rotatably mounted within the body, to transfer hair treatment substance from the reservoir to hair during use. The body includes a wall 60 comprising: a concave inner surface (64) providing a seat for the roller and a convex outer surface (61) from which the plurality of teeth (40) extend. A plurality of through slots (62) are provided in the wall (60), the slots (62) being interposed between the plurality of teeth (40) and wherein each slot (62) extends as an arc along the wall.
