A motorized misting hair dye applicator for dispersing a dye mist throughout the hair of a user employs a comb body having a plurality of teeth which each include an ultrasonic atomizer nozzle integral therewith. The comb body additionally includes a dye distribution system which allows stored liquid dye to be directed from a reservoir to each of the nozzles where the dye can be atomized into a mist. A momentary actuating button provides a manual switching interface which allows a user to selectively operate the dye distribution system so as to control the dispersal of dye mist from the nozzles. When a user combines this misting activity with the simple act of combing the teeth through their hair, the dye mist is dispersed throughout the portion of their hair being combed.

The appliance includes a receptacle for hair formulation. A brushhead member is attached to the receptacle and is in fluid communication therewith, wherein color formulation in the receptacle is moved to the brushhead and the brushhead moved back and forth by a pump and motor mechanism. The receptacle and the brushhead are structurally sized and adapted for a singlue use and to be disposable thereafter.

The appliance includes a receptacle for hair formulation. Hair coloring appliances include an elongate handle and a consumable assembly removably couplable to the handle. The consumable assembly has a manifold chamber with a fluid inlet in selective fluid communication with a first formulation fluid source, a plurality of outlet nozzles configured to discharge a first formulation from the manifold chamber, and a distribution protrusion extending into the manifold chamber and configured to direct the flow of the first formulation from the fluid inlet to each of the plurality of outlet nozzles.

Hair coloring appliances include an elongate handle and a consumable assembly removably couplable to the handle. The present invention relates to an apparatus for coloring hair comprising: (a) a housing, for holding the packing system of the coloring mixture, for coloring hair; (b) a lid, attached to said housing; (c) a power spring, located underneath said lid, for pressuring said packing system, within said housing, for squeezing the color mixture from said packing system; (d) a base having at least 2 compartments which receive and store some of said squeezed color mixture from said packing system; and (e) at least 2 tines, each having a conduit fixed within, and each tine is independently movably connected, at its upper part, to said base, for combing said hair and dividing said hair strands into groups of the required width while at the same time distributing and applying said coloring mixture to said hair roots of said separated strands through said conduits, fixed within said tines.

The present invention relates to an apparatus for coloring hair comprising: (a) a housing, for holding the packing system of the coloring mixture, for coloring hair; (b) a lid, attached to said housing; (c) a power spring, located underneath said lid, for pressuring said packing system, within said housing, for squeezing the color mixture from said packing system; (d) a base having at least 2 compartments which receive and store some of said squeezed color mixture from said packing system; and (e) at least 2 tines, each having a conduit fixed within, and each tine is independently movably connected, at its upper part, to said base, for combing said hair and dividing said hair strands into groups of the required width while at the same time distributing and applying said coloring mixture to said hair roots of said separated strands through said conduits, fixed within said tines.

An interesting healthcare comb having a significant effect for cleaning dandruff, grease, and impurities may include a comb handle and a comb base that may be mounted on one side of the comb base. A cavity may be formed inside the comb base, a seat plate may be arranged at the lower end of the comb base, and a top plate may be arranged at a top end of the comb base. A plurality of comb teeth may be arranged at one end of the seat plate away from the top plate, and provided with through holes along axial directions thereof. Openings corresponding to the through holes may be formed in the seat plate. A pressing plate may be arranged in the cavity, and ejector pins may be arranged on the pressing plate and penetrate through the openings to extend into the through holes of the comb teeth.

Embodiments of hair care apparatus and methods are provided generally comprising a location to provision hair care product, an applicator and a manipulator configured to enable concurrent product application and hair manipulation, and may comprise a product heater, configured to heat product provisioned therein, or be configured for use with an external heating source such as a microwave oven, and provide application of heated product at temperatures both safe for hair health and enhanced absorption. Apparatus may comprise a source of pressure, such as a pump or piston, to generate hair product flow through an applicator, and may be configured to receive product in user fillable or prepackaged product cartridges usable in the apparatus, a product chamber within the apparatus or a removable product reservoir useable in the apparatus. An apparatus may further be configured to support a plurality of manipulators, active applicators and passive applicators.

A hair coloring appliance includes a handle and a hair color delivery system supported within the handle. A nozzle assembly is adapted to receive hair color. The nozzle assembly includes a stationary frame and a nozzle array through which the hair color is delivered to the hair and a plurality of filaments adjacent the nozzles which are longer than the nozzles, acting as a stand-off between the nozzles and the scalp. A motor reciprocates the nozzle array back and forth as hair color moves through the nozzles.
