The tantalum powder contains boron element, and the tantalum powder has a specific surface area of greater than or equal to 4 m.sup.2/g; the ratio of the boron content of the tantalum powder to the specific surface area of the tantalum powder is 2˜16; the boron content is measured in weight ppm, and the specific surface area is measured in m.sup.2/g; Powder that can pass through a ρ-mesh screen in the tantalum powder accounts for over 85% of the total weight of the tantalum powder, where ρ=150˜170; and the tantalum powder with high CV has a low leakage current and dielectric loss, and good moldability.

BCC dual phase refractory superalloy with high phase stability and manufacturing method therefore
Disclosed are a BCC dual phase refractory superalloy with high phase stability and a manufacturing method therefor, the alloy comprising one or more of Ti, Zr, and Hf as Group 4 transition metals, one or more of Na and Ta as Group 5 transition metals, and Al, and having a structure of a BCC phase, wherein the BCC phase is composed of a disordered BCC phase and an ordered BCC phase, and wherein the ordered BCC phase is formed by allowing Al, which is a BCC phase forming element, to be soluted in an area of the BCC phase where the contents of the Group 5 transition metals are more than those of the Group 4 transition metals, so that the present disclosure provides a BCC dual phase refractory superalloy with high phase stability, characterized in that when a BCC dual phase with the ordered BCC phase and the disordered BCC phase separated from each other is formed by aging, the aging condition is precisely controlled through the apex temperature (T.sub.c) of the BCC phase miscibility gap, expressed by (Equation 1) below.

BETA ENHANCED TITANIUM ALLOYS AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING BETA ENHANCED TITANIUM ALLOYS
An α-β titanium alloy, comprising aluminum, vanadium, and molybdenum. The α-β titanium alloy comprises between 5.0 wt % and 8.0 wt % aluminum (Al), between 1.0 wt % and 5.5 wt % Vanadium (V), and between 0.75 wt % and 2.5 wt % molybdenum (Mo). The α-β titanium alloy having a density between 4.35 g/cc and 4.50 g/cc.

ALLOY, ALLOY POWDER, ALLOY MEMBER, AND COMPOSITE MEMBER
The present invention provides an alloy, an alloy powder, an alloy member, and a composite member which are excellent in corrosion resistance and wear resistance, have crack resistance, and are suitable for an additive manufacturing method and the like. An alloy and an alloy powder include, by mass %, Cr: 18 to 22%, Mo: 18 to 28%, Ta: 1.5 to 57%, C: 1.0 to 2.5%, Nb: 0 to 42%, Ti: 0 to 15%, V: 0 to 27%, Zr: 0 to 29%, and a remainder consisting of Ni and unavoidable impurities, where a molar ratio of (Ta+0.7Nb+Ti+0.6V+Zr)/C=0.5 to 1.5 is satisfied. An alloy member is an additively manufactured product or a cast having such a solidification structure, and the solidification structure is a dendrite-like crystal structure having a metal phase having a face-centered cubic structure and carbides.
Spiral spring for clock or watch movement and method of manufacture thereof
The present invention relates to a spiral spring for a balance wheel made of an alloy of niobium and titanium with an essentially single-phase structure, and the method of manufacture thereof which comprises: a step of producing a blank in a niobium-based alloy consisting of: niobium: balance to 100 wt %, titanium: between 40 and 49 wt %, traces of elements selected from the group consisting of O, H, C, Fe, Ta, N, Ni, Si, Cu, Al, between 0 and 1600 ppm by weight individually, and cumulatively less than 0.3 wt %, a step of type β hardening of said blank at a given diameter, in such a way that the titanium of the niobium-based alloy is essentially in the form of a solid solution with niobium in β phase, the content of titanium in α phase being less than or equal to 10 vol %, at least one deformation step of said alloy alternating with at least one step of heat treatment, the number of steps of heat treatment and of deformation being limited so that the niobium-based alloy obtained retains a structure in which the titanium of the niobium-based alloy is essentially in the form of a solid solution with niobium in β phase, the content of titanium in α phase being less than or equal to 10 vol % and it has an elastic limit greater than or equal to 600 MPa and an elastic modulus less than or equal to 100 GPa, a step of winding to form the spiral spring being carried out before the last heat treatment step.
