Ni-PLATED STEEL SHEET AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A Ni-plated steel sheet according to one aspect of the present invention includes a base steel sheet and a Ni plating layer provided on a surface of the base steel sheet, the Ni plating layer has a Ni—Fe alloy layer formed on a surface of the base steel sheet, and a ratio of a Zn content to a Ni content in the Ni plating layer is 0.0005% to 0.10%. A manufacturing method of the Ni-plated steel sheet according to one aspect of the present invention has electroplating a base steel sheet using a Ni plating bath in which [Zn.sup.2+]/[Ni.sup.2+] is set to 0.0005% to 0.10% to obtain a material Ni-plated steel sheet, and annealing the material Ni-plated steel sheet.

Realized is ferritic stainless steel which has excellent high-temperature strength and excellent red scale resistance. The ferritic stainless steel contains not more than 0.025% by mass of C, 0.05% by mass to 3.0% by mass of Si, 0.05% by mass to 2.0% by mass of Mn, not more than 0.04% by mass of P, not more than 0.003% 0.03% by mass of S, not more than 0.5% by mass of Ni, 10.5% by mass to 25.0% by mass of Cr, not more than 0.025% by mass of N, 0.05% by mass to 1.0% by mass of Nb, not more than 3.0% by mass of Mo, not more than 1.8% by mass of Cu, not more than 0.2% by mass of Al, and not more than 0.5% by mass of Ti. The sum of the concentrations of Cr and Si, each of which is present as oxide or hydroxide, at a surface of the ferritic stainless steel and at depths to 6 nm from the surface is a given value or more.

A non-oriented electrical steel sheet has a predetermined chemical composition. The chemical composition satisfies (2×[Mn]+2.5×[Ni]+[Cu])−([Si]+2×[sol.Al]+4×[P])≥1.50%. In a case where Ahkl-uvw represents the area ratio of crystal grains in an {hkl}<uvw> orientation to the entire visual field when a plane at a depth of ½ of a sheet thickness from a surface parallel to a rolled surface is measured by SEM-EBSD, A411-011 is 15.0% or more, and the average grain size is 50 μm to 150 μm.

Provided herein is a stainless steel seamless pipe for oil country tubular goods. A method for manufacturing such a stainless steel seamless pipe is also provided. A high-strength steel foil for the positive and negative electrode current collectors of nickel-hydrogen secondary batteries which uses a light weight and economical steel foil and which is thin and strong and has excellent rust resistance and resistance to metal ion leaching. Also, a high-strength steel foil for the positive and negative electrode current collectors of nickel-hydrogen secondary batteries which has excellent elongation. The Ni-plated steel foil for hydrogen secondary battery current collectors comprises, by mass %, C: 0.0001 to 0.0200%, Si: 0.0001 to 0.0200%, Mn: 0.005 to 0.300%, P: 0.001 to 0.020%, S: 0.0001 to 0.0100%, Al: 0.0005 to 0.1000%, N: 0.0001 to 0.0040%, one or both of Ti and Nb: 0.800% or less respectively, and a balance of Fe and impurities. The Ni-plated steel foil has an Ni plating layer on both surfaces. The thickness of the Ni plating layer on both surfaces of the Ni-plated steel foil is greater than or equal to 0.15 μm, the thickness of the Ni-plated steel foil is 5 to 50 μm, the tensile strength is over 400 MPa but no greater than 1200 MPa, and the surface defect area percentage is less than or equal to 5.00% for both surfaces of the Ni-plated steel foil.
LOW THERMAL EXPANSION CAST STEEL AND METHOD OF PRODUCING SAME
A low thermal expansion cast steel having a sufficient strength even at a high temperature and having a low coefficient of thermal expansion, that is, a low thermal expansion cast steel comprising, by mass %, C: 0 to 0.100%, Si: 0 to 1.00%, Mn: 0 to 1.00%, Co: 8.0 to 13.0%, and Ni satisfying −2.5×% Ni+85.5≤% Co≤−2.5×% Ni+90.5 (% Ni and % Co respectively being contents of Ni and Co (mass %)) and having a balance of Fe and unavoidable impurities and having, upon being subjected to suitable heat treatment, a 0.2% proof stress of a tensile test at 300° C. of 125 MPa or more, having an average coefficient of thermal expansion at 25 to 300° C. of 4.0 ppm/° C. or less, and having a Curie temperature of 250° C. or more.
