SLOW-TRANSFORMING STEEL ALLOY, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SLOW-TRANSFORMING STEEL ALLOY AND HYDROGEN STORE HAVING A COMPONENT MADE FROM SAID SLOW-TRANSFORMING STEEL ALLOY
The invention relates to a slow-transforming steel alloy for a component of a hydrogen store, which component is designed to contain or to be flowed through by hydrogen, wherein the slow-transforming steel alloy has a Vickers hardness of at least 300 HV and the slow-transforming steel alloy contains C, Si, Mn, P, S, Cr, Mo, Ni and/or V as alloy elements, the mass fractions of the alloy elements equaling: —C: at least 0.125% to at most 0.525%, —Si: 0.0% to at most 0.375%, —Mn: 0.0% to at most 0.375%, —P: 0.0% to at most 0.0145%, —S: 0.0% to at most 0.225%, —Cr: 0.0% to at most 0.25%, —Mo: at least 0.81% to at most 4.05%, —Ni: at least 0.50% to at most 3.75% and —V: at least 0.15% to at most 0.45%. The invention furthermore relates to a method for producing the slow-transforming steel alloy and to a hydrogen store having the component consisting of the slow-transforming steel alloy.
HOT-ROLLED STEEL SHEET
This hot-rolled steel sheet has a predetermined chemical composition, in which a microstructure contains, by area %, less than 3.0% of residual austenite, 15.0% or more and less than 60.0% of ferrite, and less than 5.0% of pearlite, has a ratio L.sub.60/L.sub.7 of a length L.sub.60 of a grain boundary having a crystal misorientation of 60° to a length L.sub.7 of a grain boundary having a crystal misorientation of 7° about a<110> direction of less than 0.60, has a standard deviation of a Mn concentration of 0.60 mass % or less, and has a tensile strength of 980 MPa or more.
COATED STEEL MEMBER, COATED STEEL SHEET, AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING SAME
A coated steel member includes: a steel sheet substrate containing, as a chemical composition, by mass %, C: 0.25% to 0.65%, Si: 0.10% to 1.00%, Mn: 0.30% 1.00%, P: 0.050% or less, S: 0.0100% or less, N: 0.010% or less, Ti: 0.010% to 0.100%, B: 0.0005% to 0.0100%, Nb: 0.02% to 0.10%, Mo: 0.10% to 1.00%, Cu: 0.15% to 1.00%, and Ni: 0.05% to 0.25%; and a coating formed on a surface of the steel sheet substrate and containing Al and Fe. The maximum Cu content in a range from the surface to a depth of 5.0 μm is 150% or more of the Cu content of the steel sheet substrate.

A steel sheet includes: a predetermined chemical composition; and a steel structure represented by, in area %, first martensite in which two or more iron carbides each having a circle-equivalent diameter of 2 nm to 500 nm are contained in each lath: 20% to 95%, ferrite: 15% or less, retained austenite: 15% or less, and the balance: bainite, or second martensite in which less than two iron carbides each having a circle-equivalent diameter of 2 nm to 500 nm are contained in each lath, or the both of these, in which the total area fraction of ND//<111> orientation grains and ND//<100> orientation grains is 40% or less, and the content of solid-solution C is 0.44 ppm or more.

A steel sheet includes: a predetermined chemical composition; and a steel structure represented by, in area %, first martensite in which two or more iron carbides each having a circle-equivalent diameter of 2 nm to 500 nm are contained in each lath: 20% to 95%, ferrite: 15% or less, retained austenite: 15% or less, and the balance: bainite, or second martensite in which less than two iron carbides each having a circle-equivalent diameter of 2 nm to 500 nm are contained in each lath, or the both of these, in which the total area fraction of ND//<111> orientation grains and ND//<100> orientation grains is 40% or less, and the content of solid-solution C is 0.44 ppm or more.
A press hardening method
A press hardening method including: A. provision of a steel sheet for heat treatment, being optionally precoated with a zinc- or aluminum-based pre-coating, B. deposition of a hydrogen barrier pre-coating comprising chromium and not comprising nickel over a thickness from 10 to 550 nm, C. cutting of the precoated steel sheet to obtain a blank, D. heat treatment of the blank at a furnace temperature from 800 to 970° C., during a dwell time from 1 to 12 minutes, in an atmosphere having an oxidizing power equal or higher than that of an atmosphere consisting of 1% by volume of oxygen and equal or smaller than that of an atmosphere consisting of 50% by volume of oxygen, such atmosphere having a dew point between −30 and +30° C., E. transfer of the blank into a press tool, F. hot-forming at a temperature from 600 to 830° C. to obtain a part, G. cooling of the part obtained at step E).
