Containers are described herein for the transportation and distribution of replaceable consumer products, e.g. interchangeable shaving assemblies. The containers described herein include a mechanism to securely hold the container in predetermined open and closed positions. A container used in conjunction with a safety razor including a razorblade cartridge which in turn retains at least one razorblade having a sharp front edge within the container. The container includes a zinc metal strip within the container against which at least one of the razorblades from the safety razor are forced into contact with the zinc metal strip and the remaining blades are in close proximity to the zinc metal strip. A shaving cartridge dispenser with a base, two side walls, a front wall, and a rear wall. The side walls extend upwards from the base. The front and the rear walls extend upward from the base, between the side walls. A first divider between the front wall and the rear wall extends at least part way between the two side walls. The first divider and the rear wall at least partially define a first chamber sized and shaped to receive a first shaving cartridge. The first divider defines a first open slot. A second divider is located between the first divider and the front wall and extends at least part way between the two side walls. The second divider and the first divider at least partially define a second chamber sized and shaped to receive a second shaving cartridge. The first chamber is in communication with the first open slot.
