Hot rolled coated steel sheet having high strength, high formability, excellent bake hardenability and method of manufacturing same
A hot-rolled coated steel sheet including: in wt %, C: 0.05-0.14%, Si: 0.1-1.0%, Mn: 1.0-2.0%, P: 0.001-0.05%, S: 0.001-0.01%, AI: 0.01-0.1%, Cr: 0.005-1.0%, Ti: 0.005-0.13%, Nb: 0.005-0.03%, N: 0.001-0.01%, Fe residues, and other inevitable impurities; a mixed structure of ferrite and bainite as a main phase; and as a remaining structure, one or more selected from the group consisting of martensite, austenite, and phase martensite (MA), wherein a fraction of the ferrite and bainite is 95-99 area % and Equation 1 is satisfied. [Equation 1] FCO.sub.{110}<112>+FCO.sub.{112}<111>≥10 where, FCO.sub.{110}<112> and FCO.sub.{112}<111>, each representing an area fraction occupied by a structure having ac crystal orientation of {110}<112> and {112}<111>.
METAL-COATED STEEL STRIP
An Al—Zn—Si—Mg alloy coated strip that has Mg.sub.2Si particles in the coating microstructure is disclosed. The distribution of Mg.sub.2Si particles is such that the surface of the coating has only a small proportion of Mg.sub.2Si particles or is at least substantially free of any Mg.sub.2Si particles.

An Al—Zn—Si—Mg alloy coated strip that has Mg.sub.2Si particles in the coating microstructure is disclosed. The distribution of Mg.sub.2Si particles is such that the surface of the coating has only a small proportion of Mg.sub.2Si particles or is at least substantially free of any Mg.sub.2Si particles.
Method and flux for hot galvanization
The invention relates to the technical field of galvanization of iron-based or iron-containing components, especially steel-based or steel-containing components (steel components), preferably for the automotive or motor vehicle industry, but also for other industrial fields of application (for example for the construction industry, the field of general mechanical engineering, the electrical engineering industry etc.), by means of hot galvanization (hot clip galvanization). More particularly, the invention relates to a method of hot galvanization (hot dip galvanization) and to a plant for this purpose, and additionally to a flux and flux bath usable in this connection and to the respective uses thereof, and additionally also to the products obtainable by the method and/or in the plant (i.e. hot galvanized iron or steel components).
Method and flux for hot galvanization
The invention relates to the technical field of galvanization of iron-based or iron-containing components, especially steel-based or steel-containing components (steel components), preferably for the automotive or motor vehicle industry, but also for other industrial fields of application (for example for the construction industry, the field of general mechanical engineering, the electrical engineering industry etc.), by means of hot galvanization (hot clip galvanization). COATED STEEL PRODUCT
A hot-dip coated steel product including: a steel product; and a coating layer including a Zn—Al—Mg alloy layer disposed on a surface of the steel product, in which the Zn—Al—Mg alloy layer includes a Zn phase, an Al phase, and a MgZn.sub.2 phase, and contains a Mg—Sn intermetallic compound phase in the Zn phase, and the coating layer has a chemical composition satisfying a predetermined average composition, a total area proportion of the Al phase and the MgZn.sub.2 phase is 70% or more, an area proportion of the Zn phase is 30% or less, an average value of cumulative circumferential lengths of the Al phase is less than 88 mm/mm.sup.2, and a total frequency in number of the Al phase having a circumferential length of 50 μm or more is less than 100.
IRON-ALUMINUM-BASED PLATED STEEL SHEET FOR HOT PRESS FORMING, HAVING EXCELLENT HYDROGEN DELAYED FRACTURE PROPERTIES AND SPOT WELDING PROPERTIES, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
The present invention provides an iron-aluminum-based plated steel sheet, and a manufacturing method therefor, the iron-aluminum-based plated steel sheet comprising a base steel sheet and a plated layer formed on the surface of the base steel sheet, wherein the alloy plated layer comprises: a diffusion layer comprising an Fe—Al-based intermetallic compound having a cubic structure; and an alloyed layer formed on the diffusion layer and composed of an alloy phase differing from that of the cubic structure, the thickness of the diffusion layer is 3-20 μm, and the thickness of the diffusion layer is greater than 50% of the total thickness of the plated layer.
METHOD FOR SELECTIVELY PRETINNING A GUIDEWIRE CORE
A method of pretinning a core wire for a guidewire having an elongate axis, comprising placing a ball of solder within a pocket in a soldering block; melting the ball of solder; holding a core wire over the ball of solder, with the elongate axis in a horizontal orientation; lowering a portion of the core wire into the ball of solder while maintaining the elongate axis in a horizontal orientation; removing the core wire from the ball of solder.

A method of pretinning a core wire for a guidewire having an elongate axis, comprising placing a ball of solder within a pocket in a soldering block; melting the ball of solder; holding a core wire over the ball of solder, with the elongate axis in a horizontal orientation; lowering a portion of the core wire into the ball of solder while maintaining the elongate axis in a horizontal orientation; removing the core wire from the ball of solder.
Method for manufacturing a metal sheet with a ZnAl coating and with optimized wiping, corresponding metal sheet, part and vehicle
A steel part includes a steel sheet substrate and a coating on at least one surface of the steel sheet substrate. The coating includes between 0.2 and 0.7% by weight of Al, with a remainder of the metal coating being Zn and inevitable impurities. The steel sheet substrate and the coating have at least one deformation. An outer surface of the coating has a waviness Wa.sub.0.8 of less than or equal to 0.43 μm.
