SANDING SCREEN DEVICE
A sanding device, for, e.g., cosmetic and finishing applications, is provided. The sanding device includes a wire mesh having a plurality of apexes, the apexes having an abrasive affixed thereto. The wire mesh forms a substantially planar surface with a bent perimeter section. The sanding device further includes a rim made from a plastic material, the plastic material capping the bent perimeter section of the wire mesh and further extending from the bent perimeter section. The wire mesh and the rim defining a shallow bowl shape. The sanding devices also includes a carrier shell or grip received and captured with the bowl shape.
ABRASIVE BODY
The invention relates to an abrasive body (6) for a grinding tool with an abrasive layer (8), which has at least one binding agent (12) and abrasive grains (13), characterised in that thermochromic colouring agents are provided in the abrasive layer (8).
The invention relates further to a grinding tool (1) with an abrasive body (6) according to the invention and elements (5) for connecting the grinding tool (1) to a driving device for rotatingly driving the abrasive body (6).
The invention relates further to a use of the abrasive body (6) according to the invention or of the grinding tool (1) according to the invention for treating human body parts.
NAIL FILE
A nail file may comprise a cardboard made of a polymer such as polystyrene (PS), and each of two surfaces of the cardboard has an ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) layer which is served as an adhesive to adhere a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film thereon. Also, each of two PET films has a plurality of grits formed thereon to create a rough surface thus achieving the effect of filing nails. Since the PET film is a material which is an excellent water and moister barrier, the PET film is configured to firmly attach with the cardboard even when the nail file is washed by water.
PROTECTED MULTI-SIDED FINGERNAIL FILE
An apparatus includes three nail grooming structures each of varying sandpaper densities to allow the user to select the best one for optimum nail smoothness and when finished filing, an integrated outer cap is rotated to over a location which no longer exposes the grit surfaces so as to protect them from damage and maintain cleanliness.
Abrasive body
The invention relates to an abrasive body for a grinding tool with an abrasive layer, which has at least one binding agent and abrasive grains, characterized in that thermochromic coloring agents are provided in the abrasive layer. The grinding tool includes elements for connecting the grinding tool to a driving device for rotatingly driving the abrasive body. The grinding tool is used for treating human body parts.
CURVED NAIL FILE WITH ENLARGED EDGES
A nail file includes a body having a first section and a second section with a defined curvature, wherein the curvature defines a convex upper surface and a concave lower surface. The body curvature defines a longitudinal length curved about an axis. A first enlarged longitudinal side is located along a side of both sections of the body that is configured to extend outward beyond the surface of the body. The enlarged longitudinal side includes a surface treatment to aid in filing nails. The body includes a surface treatment upon the upper surface and the lower surface. The enlarged longitudinal side forms a crease or internal corner with at least the upper surface of the body.
NAIL FILE
A nail file that can prevent clogging without frequently performing an operation of removing filings from file teeth and can effectively enhance grindability is usable to quickly files nails. The nail file includes a plate-shaped base material, and a plurality of through-holes. The plurality of through-holes are formed on the base material, have opening portions as file teeth at both ends, and a shape of at least each of the opening portions at one end is a polygon. The opening portions at both the ends of the through-holes, the shape of each of the opening portions at the one end may be preferably a polygon, and the shape of each of the opening portions at the other end may be preferably a circle.
Actuating nail file assembly and method
The actuating nail file assembly includes a housing, a controller, a circuit board, a powertrain, a slider, a head, and a power supply. The assembly is configured to selectively induce actuation of the head in one or more directions. The head is configured to engage a nail of a user, such as fingernail or toenail, and work a surface or edge of the nail to a desired condition. The head may be configured to file the nail by containing an abrasive surface configured to removed portions of the nail. Alternatively, the head may be configured to polish the nail by containing a polishing surface texture. The controller regulates the operation of the powertrain. The powertrain selectively induces radial and linear movement of the head in a plurality of directions so as to repetitively alternate between at least two opposing directions.
NAIL FILES AND METHODS
The present disclosure relates to nail files and a method for manufacturing a nail file. Multisided nail files are disclosed having two or more concave surfaces covered with an applied material including an abrasive material such as sandpaper. And the method comprises the steps of providing a substrate having two or more surfaces, providing an abrasive material, and securing the abrasive material.
ARTIFICIAL NAIL ATTACHMENT SYSTEM
The invention is a device for applying artificial nails to the natural nails of a user. The device includes a central file that can be used to file a user's fingernails or toenails. A variety of artificial nails are positioned around the outer perimeter of the emery board via a plurality of stems. Advantageously, one surface of the nail file includes a housing that can be sized and shaped with a central indentation to removably attach any of a wide variety of accessories, such as a nail glue pen. The device therefore streamlines application of the artificial nails to the natural nails of a user.
