MAGNETIC CARBON NANOMATERIALS AND METHODS OF MAKING SAME
The embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method, system and composition producing a magnetic carbon nanomaterial product that may comprise carbon nanotubes (CNTs) at least some of which are magnetic CNTs (mCNTs). The method and apparatus employ carbon dioxide (CO.sub.2) as a reactant in an electrolysis reaction in order to make mCNTs. In some embodiments of the present disclosure, a magnetic additive component is included as a reactant in the method and as a portion of one or more components in the system or composition to facilitate a magnetic material addition process, a carbide nucleation process or both during the electrosynthesis reaction for making magnetic carbon nanomaterials.
MAGNETIC CARBON NANOMATERIALS AND METHODS OF MAKING SAME

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING HYDROGEN GAS
An electrolyzer system comprises one or more electrolyzer cells each comprising a first half cell with a first electrode and a second half cell with a second electrode and a controller to control a current applied through the one or more electrolyzer cells, wherein the controller is configured to dynamically set the current density within a current density range of from about 150 mA/cm.sup.2 to about 3000 mA/cm.sup.2, and wherein the controller is configured to set the current density to a first value when a first condition is met and to a second value when a second condition is met.
GASKET FOR ELECTROLYSIS VESSELS, AND ELECTROLYSIS VESSEL USING SAME
There are provided an electrolyzer gasket, which can accommodate and hold a separator inside an electrolyzer by a simple handling, can more surely prevent leakage of an electrolyte and an electrolytically generated gas from the inside of the electrolyzer, can keep the separator in such a state that the separator is held at a position that is in contact with one of electrodes and is located along the electrode and therefore can suppress damage of the separator and makes it possible to use the separator stably for a long period of time, and an electrolyzer. An electrolyzer gasket including a picture-frame-shaped thin-plate-like frame having a first surface being in contact with an anode metal frame and a second surface being in contact with a cathode metal frame, wherein the gasket has a structure in which a notch having a difference in level of approximately the same thickness as the thickness of the separator, the notch obtained by thinly scraping off, in a uniform thickness, a region including the edge on the anode chamber side or the cathode chamber side, is formed on any one of the first surface and the second surface, and the edge part of the separator is accommodated and held in the notch, and an electrolyzer using the electrolyzer gasket.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR RECOVERING METAL
The present application provides a method for recovering metal from metal-containing material by leaching, the method comprising providing aqueous solution containing leaching agent precursor, providing one or more source(s) of external energy comprising a source of electric current connected to one or more non-metallic electrode(s) comprising carbon material(s) selected from graphite, graphene and derivatives thereof, and carbon nanomaterial(s) selected from carbon nanofibers, carbon nanotubes and carbon nanobuds, treating the aqueous solution with the external energy, which is electric current providing electrochemical reactions, to form hydrogen peroxide from oxygen in the aqueous solution, reacting the leaching agent precursor with the formed hydrogen peroxide to form a leaching agent and to obtain a leaching solution, providing metal-containing material, reacting the metal-containing material with the leaching solution to obtain soluble metal complexes, and recovering the soluble metal complexes. The present application also discloses a device for recovering metal from metal-containing material by leaching.

An electrolyzer assembly is disclosed which includes a stack of cells, a plurality of polar plates in the stack of cells, a plurality of flow fields between the plurality of polar plates, a conduit fluidly connecting flow fields in the plurality of flow fields, an electrically conductive fluid in the conduit, a plurality of insulating layers arranged between a conductive surface of the plurality of flow fields and the conduit, and a plurality of openings in the plurality of insulating layers providing a plurality of fluid connections between the conduit and the plurality of flow fields.
