A cosmetic container that grinds and dispenses a content is disclosed. The cosmetic container includes: an inner container having an interior space filled with a content; a dial that is rotatably coupled at an upper part of the inner container and includes a dispensing hole for dispensing the content and a cutter for grinding the content; a screw that is positioned at a lower part of the dial within the interior space and rotates together with the dial; a piston inserted around the screw to ascend and descend within the interior space; and an elastic member that is positioned at a lower part of the piston and pushes the piston upward. The piston is screw-joined with the screw to maintain a particular height, and rotating the dial disengages the screw joint between the piston and the screw to allow the piston to be moved upward by the elastic member.

A cosmetic container that grinds and dispenses a content is disclosed. An apparatus is provided for dispensing a powdered cosmetic composition, including a dispenser holder configured to hold at least one dispenser that stores a cosmetic composition that is used to make a powdered cosmetic composition; a container receiving area configured to hold a output container beneath the at least one dispenser; and circuitry configured to determine the cosmetic composition in the at least one dispenser, control the output container to be moved beneath the at least one dispenser, and control the dispenser to dispense the cosmetic composition into the output container.

An apparatus is provided for dispensing a powdered cosmetic composition, including a dispenser holder configured to hold at least one dispenser that stores a cosmetic composition that is used to make a powdered cosmetic composition; a container receiving area configured to hold a output container beneath the at least one dispenser; and circuitry configured to determine the cosmetic composition in the at least one dispenser, control the output container to be moved beneath the at least one dispenser, and control the dispenser to dispense the cosmetic composition into the output container.

A cosmetic container that converts unusable broken pressed powder into loose powder. The cosmetic container pulverizes broken pressed powder into loose powder via a screw press mechanism. In one specific implementation, the pulverized loose powder is held in a sealable sifter enclosure; the enclosure can be locked to prevent leakage during travel. In some variants, the portable cosmetic container may further include storage space for an applicator brush, make-up pad, or other assorted cosmetics.
