Electrochromic films and related methods thereof
EC film stacks and different layers within the EC film stacks are disclosed. Methods of manufacturing these layers are also disclosed. In one embodiment, an EC layer comprises nanostructured EC layer. These layers may be manufactured by various methods, including, including, but not limited to glancing angle deposition, oblique angle deposition, electrophoresis, electrolyte deposition, and atomic layer deposition. The nanostructured EC layers have a high specific surface area, improved response times, and higher color efficiency.
REUSABLE E-INK PAPER
Electronic ink paper includes: an image display area comprising a support layer, a conductive layer on the support layer, an ink layer on the conductive layer and to display an image by electrophoresis of pigment particles dispersed in an electrophoretic liquid, and a transparent surface layer to cover the ink layer; and a border to surround the image display area and including at least one edge having a tapered shape that decreases in thickness toward the outside of the border.

NANOCARBON COATING SYSTEM AND COATING METHOD FOR STRAY AND REFLECTED LIGHT SUPPRESSION
A method of coating a substrate, the method comprises adding a nanocarbon material to an electrophoretic solution in an electrophoretic deposition apparatus including the substrate and an electrode spaced from the substrate, and applying a current to the substrate and the electrode to deposit the nanocarbon material onto the substrate.
Substrate for solar cell and manufacturing method thereof
Disclosed are a substrate for a solar cell and a method for manufacturing the same. The method include putting negative and positive electrodes facing away from each other into suspension in which at least two different types of negatively charged cellulose nanofibers are dispersed; applying a voltage across the positive and negative electrodes such that the cellulose fibers are adsorbed onto a surface of the negative electrode; and drying the negative electrode having the cellulose fibers adsorbed thereon.
METHOD FOR COATING A SUBSTRATE
A method for coating a substrate includes the steps of: forming a conductive coating layer on a surface of a substrate so as to form a semi-product; submerging a conductive sheet and the semi-product into an electrophoresis medium that includes charged colloid particles; and applying a voltage on the conductive sheet or the semi-product to form an electric field among the conductive sheet, the semi-product, and the electrophoresis medium, so that the colloid particles move along the electric field toward the semi-product and an electrophoretic covering layer formed by the charged colloid particles is thus deposited on the electrophoretic covering layer.
METHOD OF PRODUCING A GRAPHENE FILM
A graphene composite film is produced for application to the anode of a battery. A graphene dispersion is peeled off of a graphite solvent mixture ultrasonically. The graphene material is then mixed with organic amine salt to be charged. Electrophoretic deposition is used to turn the graphene into a film. The film is then passed through a heat treatment to remove the organic amine salt. The resulting film is a highly conductive graphene film with a two-dimensional structure.
