A novel hybrid non-alcoholic solvent solution and fabric for antimicrobial applications provides a non-toxic, economical, biodegradable, anti-microbial solution, that not only inhibits the growth but also kills microbial pathogens. In certain embodiments, the hybrid solvent composition includes extracts of curcumin, Syzygium aromaticum, Azadirachta indica, Trachyspermum Ammi, Cinnamomum Camphora, Cinnamomum Verum, and Elettaria Cardamomum.

A computer system that predicts synergistic interactions between pesticidal and synergistic compounds of a pesticidal composition is described. The system provides a trained classifier that provides probabilistic predictions of the synergy between two or more compounds on a pest. The system may select features for transformation, encode them, generate one or more predictions, and combine the predictions. The predictions may be evaluated by experimental testing, e.g. in vitro or in planta, and/or used to formulate and/or apply a pesticidal composition.

The antimicrobial composition has a pH of from about 1.5 to about 5 as measured at 20° C.

The use of LAE as a preservative of distiller's grains and solubles is also disclosed.
