Automated nail polish application apparatus
A nail polish application apparatus, comprising a mounting element comprising a capsule compartment adapted to receive one or more capsules containing a nail polish fluid wherein the mounting element is moveable by actuator(s) in longitudinal axis crossing a nail polish applying space and in lateral axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and is rotatable by the actuator(s) around the longitudinal axis, a pressure applying element adapted to apply pressure on a body portion of the capsule(s) installed in the capsule compartment wherein the body portion defines a reservoir containing a nail polish fluid, the pressure builds an internal pressure in the reservoir forcing extrusion of the nail polish fluid to a nail polish applying element integrated with the capsule(s), sensor(s) adapted to generate sensory data depicting the nail polish applying space and a control unit adapted to operate the actuator(s) and the pressure according to analysis of the sensory data.
Device for packaging and applying a cosmetic product
A device for packaging and applying a cosmetic product includes a brush applicator having a tuft of bristles at one end, and a container to which the brush applicator can be fastened, comprising a container intended to contain the product to be applied and a housing for receiving at least a part of the tuft of bristles of the brush, said housing communicating with the container via at least one opening, wherein, when the brush applicator is fastened to the container, only some of the bristles of the tuft of bristles are disposed in and/or next to the opening and directly exposed to the product coming from the container.
Application brush for cosmetic formula
An application brush for a cosmetic formula comprising: i) a base having a central axis and including a top surface that is perpendicular or substantially perpendicular to the central axis and a bottom that is spaced apart from the top surface along the central axis; and ii) a bundle of bristles that is mounted on the bottom of the base. Tips of bristles forming the bundle of bristles cooperate to define a virtual plane that is perpendicular or substantially perpendicular to the central axis, and the virtual plane has an oval shape.
Container/applicator for a cosmetic product
A container/applicator for content such as a cosmetic product has a cylindrical shape with an axis, that includes a reservoir having a wall, a closed end closed by a bottom and an open end with a free edge, a cap having a skirt and a top wall, and an applicator rod, a casing having a distal end and a proximal end, a squeegee, an interface, wherein the squeegee is a part separate from the casing and is housed in the casing, includes a protruding flange and a distal portion, is held by fixed rigid squeegee/reservoir-casing combination. The casing includes an open distal end, and a transverse step forming an inner shoulder.
TOPICAL SCALP COMPOSITION
The present disclosure relates to topical scalp care compositions that may be used as leave-on treatments and comprise one or more actives useful for treating symptoms of itch, redness, flaking, and dryness of the scalp. The present disclosure further relates to systems and methods of treating symptoms of itch, redness, flaking, and dryness of the scalp using such topical scalp care compositions.
FLUID DISPENSING SYSTEM
Disclosed is a fluid dispensing system useful for applying lotions and the like comprising a substantially rigid body having a hollow interior space and a discharge hole accessing the hollow interior space. A collapsible bag, disposed within the interior space and containing a fluid to be dispensed, has an open end in fluid communication with the discharge hole where an applicator is also engaged to permit the fluid to flow from the applicator. A pressure pump for increasing the pressure within the interior space to displace the fluid out of the bag and through the discharge hole thereby causing the fluid to flow from the applicator, is attached to the body. In another practice, the fluid dispensing system comprises a squeezable body having at least one vent hole.
Systems, methods and file format for 3D printing of microstructures
Systems, methods, and new file formats are provided for printing 3D microstructures. In some implementations, a new file format is provided that defines 3D objects by a wireframe model expressed as a collection of wires. Because wires and their parameters are defined within the new file format, objects may be processed more efficiently and quickly to support 3D rendering operations. Such methods may be used to print new articles, such as eyelashes, bushes, swabs and other novel items.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND APPARATUSES FOR IMPLEMENTING A SELF-CONTAINED PERIORBITAL COSMETIC APPLICATOR DEVICE
Systems, methods, and apparatuses for implementing a self-contained periorbital cosmetic applicator device are described herein. For example, according to one embodiment there is a periorbital cosmetic applicator device including: a brush head portion, in which the brush head portion includes an internal liquid distribution system having distal ends of internal ducts, fluid distribution ports, and bristles, in which the distal ends of the internal ducts transport material to be applied and connect to fluid distribution ports adjacent to the base of bristles, in which the fluid distribution ports eject the material to be applied to the bristles, in which the bristles receive the material exiting from the fluid distribution ports for application to a target region on a face or body; a brush body portion, in which the brush body portion contains a reservoir for receiving material to be applied, in which the reservoir is to enclose the material to be applied, in which the reservoir receives a sealing cap at a distal end of the reservoir to retain the reservoir within the brush body portion; a brush neck portion, in which the brush neck portion serves as a connection between the brush head portion and the brush body portion, in which the brush neck portion connects proximal ends of the internal ducts to receive material to be applied, in which the material to be applied traverses through the brush neck portion from the reservoir of the brush body portion and into the internal liquid distribution system of the brush head portion via the proximal ends of the internal ducts; a reservoir connector, in which the reservoir connector portion is located between the brush neck portion and the brush body portion, in which the reservoir connector portions receives material to be applied from the reservoir of the brush body portion for transfer to the brush neck portion; and a detachable cap for sealing the brush head portion, in which the cap attaches posteriorly at the base of the brush body portion. Other related embodiments are disclosed.
Systems and methods to initiate and perform the painting of an area of interest on a finger
Systems and methods to initiate and perform the painting of an area of interest on a finger are herein disclosed. In one aspect, embodiments of the present disclosure include a method, which may be implemented on a system, of capturing an image of the finger in response to receiving a request to paint the area of interest on the finger and using the image of the finger to ascertain an area of interest of the fingernail to be painted. One embodiment includes, in response to determining that the user is satisfied with the area of interest that has been determined, initiating the painting of the area of interest and/or depicting, in real time, the painting of the area of interest to the user.
