Metal alloy/oxide composite catalyst for ammonia decomposition
The present invention discloses a series of ammonia decomposition catalysts, the method of making such catalysts and the use of such catalysts. The said catalysts are made of composite metal or metal alloys supported on composite oxides or nitrides as the catalyst supports. The catalysts are useful in ammonia decomposition at various temperatures and pressures, including temperatures below 500° C. and pressures up to 30 atm.
PROCESS FOR SEPARATION OF HYDROGEN AND OXYGEN
Embodiments of the invention are directed to methods, processes, and systems for safely and reliably purifying hydrogen from a gas mixture containing hydrogen and oxygen.
AMMONIA DECOMPOSITION FACILITY, GAS TURBINE PLANT EQUIPPED WITH SAME, AND AMMONIA DECOMPOSITION METHOD
An ammonia decomposition facility includes a heating medium line configured to flow a heating medium heated by heat generated by a gas turbine, an ammonia supply line configured to flow ammonia, an ammonia decomposition device, and an ammonia removal device. The ammonia decomposition device is configured to use heat of the heating medium from the heating medium line, thermally decompose ammonia from the ammonia supply line, and generate a decomposition gas containing hydrogen, nitrogen, and residual ammonia. The ammonia removal device is configured to remove the residual ammonia contained in the decomposition gas from the ammonia decomposition device.

CATALYST FOR PHOTOCATALYTIC REACTION FOR THE PRODUCTION OF HYDROGEN BY HYDROLYSIS AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
The present invention is a catalyst for a photocatalytic reaction for the production of hydrogen by hydrolysis and a preparation method thereof. A preparation method of a catalyst for a photocatalytic reaction for the production of hydrogen by hydrolysis, comprising: after dispersing the ZnO nanorods into a solvent, adding TiCl.sub.4 and water, followed by hydrothermal treatment, washing and drying to obtain a ZnO@TiO.sub.2(B) nanoflower catalyst, i.e. the catalyst. According to the present invention, a catalyst for a photocatalytic reaction for the production of hydrogen by hydrolysis and a preparation method thereof, embedding ZnO nanocrystals into a TiO.sub.2(B) lattice can improve the stability of photocatalytic hydrogen production.
Hydrogen supply apparatus and hydrogen supply system
A hydrogen supply apparatus includes: an air path having an inlet and an outlet; a fan that is disposed in the air path and produces a flow of air from the inlet to the outlet; a first pipe having an end that forms a first supply port through which to supply hydrogen gas to the air path; a flow control device that is attached to the first pipe and adjusts a flow rate of the hydrogen gas; and a hydrogen gas sensor, disposed downstream of the fan or the end in a direction of flow of the air that detects a concentration of the hydrogen gas in the air path, where the end is disposed between the fan and the outlet or between the fan and the inlet in the air path.
Photostable composite for solar water splitting and process for the preparation thereof
The present invention discloses photostable composite of indium gallium nitride and zinc oxide for solar water splitting, comprising Indium content in the range of 1-40 wt %, Ga content in the range of 1 to 15 wt %, nitrogen content in the range of 0.1 to 5 wt %, and the remaining is ZnO. The combustion synthesis comprises the steps of: (a) dissolving 45 to 55 wt % urea, 75 to 80 wt % Zinc nitrate, 3 to 5 wt % Gallium nitrate, and 15 to 20 wt % Indium nitrate in water with stirring until a homogenous solution is formed; and (b) heating the homogenous solution of step (a) at a temperature in the range of 450-550 [deg.]C. for period in the range of 2 to 20 min to obtain the photostable composite.
