Method of purifying hydrogen supplied from a storage cavern
The present invention is directed to a method and system of purifying hydrogen supplied from a storage cavern, particularly to removing methane and other hydrocarbons from the hydrogen withdrawn from the cavern by using selective adsorption. The adsorbed impurities can be removed from the adsorbent by increasing the temperature, reducing the pressure, or a combination of both.

Hydrogen reforming system
A hydrogen reforming system includes: a reformer that generates first mixed gas through a reforming reaction between fuel gas and water; a transformer that is fed with the first mixed gas and generates second mixed gas from which carbon monoxide is removed by a water gas shift reaction; a pressure swing adsorption that purifies and separate hydrogen from the second mixed gas generated in the transformer; a heat exchanger that is provided between the reformer and the transformer and between the transformer and the PSA unit to control temperatures of the first mixed gas and the second mixed gas through heat exchange with water; a water feeder that communicates with the heat exchanger and supplies water to the heat exchanger; and a control value that is provided on a line through which water is discharged from the water feeder and adjusts a flow rate of water.

APPARATUSES AND PROCESSES FOR THE RECOVERY OF CARBON DIOXIDE STREAMS
Processes and apparatuses for recovering a high purity carbon dioxide stream. A first separation zone that may include a cryogenic fractionation column provides the high-purity CO.sub.2 stream. A vapor stream from the cryogenic fractionation column is passed to a second separation zone to separate the CO.sub.2 from the other components. The second separation zone may include a pressure swing adsorption unit or a solvent separation unit. The second separation zone provides a hydrogen enriched gas stream that may be used in a gas turbine. The second stream from the second separation zone includes carbon dioxide and, after a pressure increase in a compressor, may be recycled to the first separation zone.
Wet Oxidation Hydrogen Purification
The invention is directed to a process for the purification of a raw hydrogen gas stream comprising hydrogen gas in an amount of 85-99%, said process comprising the step of contacting said raw hydrogen gas stream with an oxidized bed comprising an oxidized metal resulting in a waste gas stream comprising water and less than 5% hydrogen gas, and in a reduction of said oxidized metal; and a step of contacting a bed comprising a reduced metal with water to produce a purified hydrogen gas stream comprising more than 99% hydrogen gas, preferably comprising 99.97% or more hydrogen gas, and the oxidized metal. In a further aspect, the invention is directed to an apparatus suitable to carry out said process.
