An applicator for a cosmetic product to keratinous materials, particularly to keratinous fibers, notably to the eyelashes, the eyebrows and/or the capillary fibers, includes a core that extends along a longitudinal axis, a cosmetic product application element having at least one block of a foam attached to the core, the foam being an open-cell polymer foam which on its outer surface has free strands formed by all or part of the edge corners of cells that have been cut through by the machining of the foam.

A device for applying a cosmetic composition, in particular a makeup or care composition, to an application zone of a user, having a positioning system comprising at least one support configured to be positioned on a predefined supporting zone of the user's body and at least one connecting member connected to an application system for the composition, the support having a customized shape, adapted to said supporting zone, and/or the connecting member having a customized shape and/or dimensions, adapted to the morphology of the user, the device being configured to guide the connecting member, in particular to impose a predefined trajectory on said connecting member, when the latter is moved relative to said supporting zone from a position in which the support is positioned on said zone, in order to bring the application system into contact with said application zone.

A mascara application system includes two brushes on arms or wands. A manufacturing approach is included. Wands are biased together, requiring force to separate brushes to place brushes on opposite sides (surfaces, top and bottom) of an eyelash. Upon release of the force brushes remain in contact with no affirmative force required to keep them together. During application of mascara, a user's fingers remain free to manipulate the position and movement of the brushes by holding, rolling, drawing, or otherwise controlling the handle to which the wands anchor. Brushes may be the same or different sizes, on simple, cantilevered arms or in a crossed (reverse tweezers) configuration. A reservoir of mascara product may receive, and seal by means of engaging, the applicator without relative rotation.

An apparatus including but not limited to a plunger driven dispenser comprising a handle having an inner section and an outer section and a top; a storage chamber formed inside of the inner section the contains a highly viscous product, wherein the storage chamber has a tapered opening at the bottom and an aperture in the top of the storage chamber, wherein the aperture further comprises a coned tip surrounding the aperture; a syringe and plunger formed inside of the outer section that fits into the storage chamber and extrudes the cosmetic product through the coned tip aperture under pressure applied to the plunger; and an aperture in the top that receives cosmetic product from the storage chamber through the coned tip aperture and a spike to seal the storage chamber.

The brush for the application of fluid products, particularly for powdery, creamy, liquid products or the like, comprises a plurality of spreading elements to spread a fluid product on a work surface and having a first ending part associated with a support element and a second free ending part, opposite to the first ending part and adapted to take and apply the product, in which the support element is made of a flexible material.

This invention relates to assemblies, components, and methods for application of cosmetic products. For example, a cosmetic applicator wand in the form of an elongated tool including a region for gripping by a user, an enlarged element optionally including a groove, where the wand can be coupled to an applicator. Systems, methods, and new file formats are provided for printing 3D microstructures. In some implementations, a new file format is provided that defines 3D objects by a wireframe model expressed as a collection of wires. Because wires and their parameters are defined within the new file format, objects may be processed more efficiently and quickly to support 3D rendering operations. Such methods may be used to print new articles, such as eyelashes, bushes, swabs and other novel items.

Each container in the plurality of containers includes a dispenser configured to dispense contents within the container. The applicator is operatively coupled to the container set and configured to apply contents from the containers to a target surface. In some examples, the dispenser system includes a cap. A device for packaging and applying a cosmetic product includes a brush applicator having a tuft of bristles at one end, and a container to which the brush applicator can be fastened, comprising a container intended to contain the product to be applied and a housing for receiving at least a part of the tuft of bristles of the brush, said housing communicating with the container via at least one opening, wherein, when the brush applicator is fastened to the container, only some of the bristles of the tuft of bristles are disposed in and/or next to the opening and directly exposed to the product coming from the container.
