This invention relates to assemblies, components, and methods for application of cosmetic products. For example, a cosmetic applicator wand in the form of an elongated tool including a region for gripping by a user, an enlarged element optionally including a groove, where the wand can be coupled to an applicator. The assemblies are designed to be easy and comfortable to use.

Systems, methods, and new file formats are provided for printing 3D microstructures. In some implementations, a new file format is provided that defines 3D objects by a wireframe model expressed as a collection of wires. Because wires and their parameters are defined within the new file format, objects may be processed more efficiently and quickly to support 3D rendering operations. Such methods may be used to print new articles, such as eyelashes, bushes, swabs and other novel items.

A cosmetic package comprising a cosmetic applicator for applying a product including a cosmetic, care, or pharmaceutical product onto the keratinous substrate. The cosmetic applicator comprises an application member that includes a flexible zone at a proximal portion of the application member. The flexible zone further includes at least two horizontal grooves that extend on a first face of the application member, and at least two horizontal grooves that extend on a second face opposite to the first face. When a pressure is exerted on the application member during the application of the cosmetic product, the flexible zone enables the application member to flex towards either the first face or the second face.

A device for packaging and applying a cosmetic product includes a brush applicator having a tuft of bristles at one end, and a container to which the brush applicator can be fastened, comprising a container intended to contain the product to be applied and a housing for receiving at least a part of the tuft of bristles of the brush, said housing communicating with the container via at least one opening, wherein, when the brush applicator is fastened to the container, only some of the bristles of the tuft of bristles are disposed in and/or next to the opening and directly exposed to the product coming from the container.

An applicator device for applying a fluid or paste product to keratin fibers or to the skin (epidermis) includes an elongate core which extends along a longitudinal axis X and has a longitudinal cylindrical shape and a plurality of projections distributed across the core. Each projection extends from an anchoring end, in the core, towards a free end and being integral with said core. A warm cream dispenser applicator device provided with a cream dispenser, a heating chamber and an applicator head for applying warm cream directly on skin without hand touching the cream. Various embodiments of devices for retrieving and applying product from within a container are provided. In one embodiment the device comprises a flexible shaft having a proximal and distal end; a rod having a proximal and distal end, the rod positioned within the flexible shaft; and a tip coupled to the distal end of the rod by a living hinge. Pressure applied between the proximal and distal end of the flexible shaft bends the living hinge which rotates the tip from a first position to a second position.
