the shapes of the contours of said surfaces (26, 28, 30) being different in pairs and not symmetrical to one another about an axis or a median plane.

A device for packaging and applying eyeliner including a container containing the eyeliner to be applied, and an applicator tip defining an application surface for applying the eyeliner contained in the container, having at least one cavity opening on the application surface and being elongate along a longitudinal axis, the cavitycavity being bordered laterally by two walls, the free edges of which, on the application surface side, are convex in shape about an axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the cavity.

A collar for use with a bottle that is refillable for refilling the bottle with a product, and containers comprised of bottles having the collar attached thereto. The collar is removably attachable to the bottle for removable attachment of an applicator to the bottle. The bottle contains a liquid, powder, or other flowable product that is applied with the applicator to a surface during use of the applicator. To remove the applicator from the bottle, a flexible ring of the collar is depressed with pressure applied at opposite buttons of the collar to deform the flexible ring and slide at least one ring tab of the flexible ring past at least one stop lug of the bottle to allow the collar to rotate with respect to the bottle and be removed from the bottle.

An applicator for applying a cosmetic substance includes an applicator body and an applicator head. The applicator head is operably coupled with a first end of the applicator body via a body coupling member. The applicator head includes a first member and a second member. The first member has a first outer surface adapted to collect and/or apply a cosmetic substance. The second member is operably coupled with the first member and has a second outer surface adapted to collect and/or apply a cosmetic substance. At least one of the first outer surface and the second outer surface has a surface treatment applied thereto.

The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition applicator comprising a urethane foam obtained by foaming a polyurethane, wherein the urethane foam has a structure comprising a membrane structure and a net structure. According to the present invention, the cosmetic composition applicator has improved transfer ability due to the simple absorption and discharge of a cosmetic composition and, simultaneously, can smoothly apply a cosmetic composition to the skin without caking.

A discardable cartridge having a limited quantity of a lip balm that is loaded into a closable applicator container, such as a piece of jewelry or a wearable accessory. The cartridge includes a rigid or resilient upper base having a convex or flat top surface upon which the lip balm is associated, and a volume of lip balm attached to the top surface of the base. The flat or convex top surface allows wiping the balm onto the lips single-handedly. The top surface of the cartridge can include a plurality of integrally-attached bristles, between which the lip balm is embedded, anchoring the lip balm to the cartridge, and providing the additional function of exfoliation.

A keratinous treatment kit is configured to apply a semi-solid or solid, non-Newtonian cosmetic composition onto a surface of keratinous tissue, wherein the cosmetic kit is packaged in a unitary package. The keratinous treatment kit includes a hybrid applicator, a hand piece, and a semi-solid or solid non-Newtonian cosmetic composition. The hybrid applicator includes a base and cleaning elements, the cleaning elements including a bristled brush and a elastomer contact surface. The handpiece includes a body and a motor, the body configured to receive the hybrid applicator, and the motor arranged and disposed to provide oscillating motion to the hybrid applicator, when attached, relative to the body. The semi-solid or solid, non-Newtonian cosmetic composition is transformable to a spreadable consistency when subjected to oscillating contact with the hybrid applicator. Also provided is a cosmetic application method of utilizing the cosmetic kit.

An applicator device for applying a fluid or paste product to keratin fibres or to the skin (epidermis), that includes an elongate core which extends along a longitudinal axis X and has a longitudinal cylindrical shape and a plurality of projections distributed across said core, each projection extending from an anchoring end in the core towards a free end and being integral with said core, and each projection having, at the free end, a means for the uptake and retention of a quantity of fluid or paste product.

Cosmetics packaging and applicators including a gel based tip are described. Gel applicators may or may not be provided with a through-hole. In various embodiments, the gel may be a stand-alone gel or may be encapsulated in a membrane. The gel applicator provides a soft feel and may have cooling effect as well. In some embodiments, the applicator is mounted to a platform or a hollow insert and coupled to a container housing the cosmetics product.
