The applicator includes a plurality of bristles, and at least one of the bristles is formed from a thermoplastic elastomer having a hardness in a range of 32 shore D to 38 shore D. The method further includes the step of brushing the applicator against a keratin fiber to transfer the cosmetic compound from the applicator to the keratin fiber.
Applicator bottle
An applicator bottle has a container and a lid having an applicator which collects fluid from the floor when the lid engages the opening. The applicant bottle may have fluid saving capabilities wherein the container defines an opening into an interior which funnels fluid concentrically towards a floor opposite the opening when the container is upright so that the applicator can collect fluid pooled on the floor when the lid engages the opening without wastage. A cosmetic applicator is provided. The applicator includes a rod including a conic joining member at a first end, the joining member having a first surface and a second surface both tapering toward the first end, an axial positioning hole open to the first end, and two aligned through holes each having a first end open to a surface thereof and a second end communicating with the positioning hole; and a flat brush partially fastened in the positioning hole and including an application portion exposed outside of the joining member, and a flat combined portion secured to a blind end of the positioning hole. The through holes are disposed in proximity to the blind end of the positioning hole and the combined portion is disposed between the through holes.
Personal care product dispensing system
A personal care product dispensing system with a body defining a cavity configured to retain a spreadable personal care product. A spreadable material is positioned within the cavity. A cover is mounted to the body. The cover defines a first aperture extending from a top surface of the cover to a bottom surface of the cover. A flexible applicator pad is mounted to the top surface of the cover with a valve positioned over the first aperture. The flexible applicator pad has a plurality of projections and each of the projections has a maximum cross sectional area of 0.20 mm.sup.2 to 0.60 mm.sup.2.
Spiral cosmetic applicator with downward facing microcombs
An applicator for applying a cosmetic product to the eyelashes and/or eyebrows. The applicator includes a core extending along a longitudinal axis X, and one or more elongated strip having a top planar surface with a plurality of bristles extending therefrom. The one or more elongated strip is wrapped in a helical pattern around the longitudinal axis X of the core. Each of the plurality of bristles have a bristle latitudinal axis Y and one or more branches extending at a downward angle from the bristle latitudinal axis Y.
Applicator for cosmetic product comprising a movable part having at least one chain of open loops
Applicator for cosmetic product having an elongate general shape in a longitudinal direction, including a fixed part and a part movable in relation thereto. The movable part includes protrusions, at least one chain having a strand forming a succession of open loops, the chain extending substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the applicator. The fixed part includes at least two links, at least two of the open loops on each chain being passed through by a link of the fixed part. Thus, each chain of the movable part is fastened with at least one degree of freedom to the fixed part, enabling relative movement of the chain in relation to the fixed part longitudinally. This improves quality of the application of the product and gives the applicator a sensation of flexibility, even if the applicator is constituted by a rigid material. The applicator can be made by additive manufacturing.
